Everyone leave Kourtney Kardashian alone–she’s not hurting her unborn baby!

Sometimes I see my pregnant friends and I feel really, really bad for them.__ I mean, they can't drink, they can't eat cheese or fish or have a cup of coffee or dye their hair–basically, it sucks.

I also think that here in the U.S. we go a little nutso with all the restrictions we put on what you can and can't do while pregnant. For instance, I know someone who actually DID enjoy a little glass of wine every now and then during her pregnancy, and her baby turned out fine. Also, whenever I hear someone talking about how they can't eat fish or sushi while pregnant, I wonder if Japanese women swear off hamburgers and french fries (you know, traditional American fare) because of their toxicity.

Point being, sometimes being knocked up sucks because of all the constraints and lists of you oh-my-god-absolutely-can't-do-because-think-of-the-baby restricted activities! Which leads me to Kourtney Kardashian and her cute new highlighted hair.

Who would've thought that a little beauty treatment would cause so many moms' heads to explode?

Now, I will admit. I DO get Brazilian blow outs even though I KNOW that they release noxious chemicals because, well, they make my hair look amazing so my whole perspective on this is likely more permissive than most, but come on people–get off her back!

Kourtney took every precaution necessary and as a preemptive STFU to all the moms who were going to be super judgmental went out of her way to list them:

I did research about doing anything to the color of my hair while pregnant and followed all of the guidelines from my doctor and took the proper precautions necessary. I highlighted my hair (which is considered the safest form of hair color while pregnant) and NOT to the root, so nothing ever touched my scalp. I also used products that did not contain any ammonia. It is also recommended to be in a well-ventilated area as well as being at least in your second trimester, and I followed both of those rules. Anyone who knows anything about me knows that I take caution in all the products I use all the time, but especially when pregnant.

Um, so why are we still arguing about this moms? Everybody just settle down and relish the fact that she's carrying her own baby and not yours, so there is really no need to be going all crazy or getting your panties in a bunch over a few (very subtle and totally tasteful, btw) highlights!

What do you think? Is Kourtney krazy (sorry, couldn't help myself) for dyeing her hair while pregnant?
