Madonna finds out richest dog in the world has sold her former home for more than she did

Pop music icon Madonna took to Instagram in shock on Thursday, November 18, 2021, when she realized that her former Miami home is back on the market, and that not only is it being sold by a dog, but that the dog is selling it for three times as much as Madonna got for it.

The "Medellín" singer dedicated four posts on her Instagram story to her sadness over the news, but we're sensing a healthy dose of humor prompted Madge to let her fans in on the odd real estate listing for her former abode. The dog in question is millionaire pooch, Gunther VI, who is known as the "world's richest dog."

Madonna wasn't too happy.

Madonna first shared this hilarious photo of her sitting at home pouting, along with the caption: "When you find out a dog is selling your old house for 3 times the amount you sold it for!" We would be kind of sad, too!

The dog might get over $30 million for Madonna's former mansion.

Madonna then posted a screenshot of a news article explaining that the dog has the nine-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bathroom Miami home, listed for $32 million. According to Madge, that's three times as much as she sold it for two decades ago.

Madonna grew sadder by the minute.

Madonna then hilariously posted another photo of herself apparently lamenting the millions that she lost by selling the house to the dog's grandfather so many years ago. But, let's not forget that the singer is currently worth $850 million.

She just can't believe it.

Before Madonna could let it go and move on, she shared one more screenshot detailing the real estate news. This one showed a picture of the regal-looking German shepherd lounging poolside at the Miami mansion.

The dog inherited the mansion.

According to People, the dog inherited the house from the late German Countess Karlotta Leibenstein, who left the dog's grandfather her entire $80 million estate. He is the beneficiary of a trust that owns the massive estate.

He's practically a real estate mogul.

The dog's fortune is now worth somewhere around a half a billion dollars, and the humans in charge of his finances, have invested most of his money in real estate all around the world, according to People. So, no worries! Gunther will still have a plush pillow to lay his head on.
