Paul Walker, the beloved Fast & Furious actor, would have been 50 years old this year on September 12. Sadly, he died as a passenger in a 2013 car crash at the age of 40. His daughter, Meadow Walker, was only 15 years old at the time of his death. Ten years after his death, Meadow posted a touching tribute to her late father on social media that will tug at your heartstrings.

Meadow was 1 year old when the first Fast & Furious movie came out. Her father starred in seven of the franchise films and she basically grew up on the sets of the movies with the cast members as part of her extended family. Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the franchise, is even her godfather.

She calls him her ‘guardian angel.’
On what would have been her father's 50th birthday, Meadow shared a sweet photo of the two of them on Instagram and wrote:
“Happy birthday to my guardian angel Thank you for your love, guidance, friendship, sunshine and for raising me to see all of the beauty in the world. You are the most kind, humble, generous and caring soul I know. You taught me at a young age to always treat everyone with respect, to do good and to take care of our planet. I love you and miss you every day.”
Meadow also heads the Paul Walker Foundation.
Meadow is the founder and CEO of the Paul Walker Foundation, a nonprofit organization that offers scholarships to “individuals aged 16 to 19 who are making an impact in their community.” The organization’s website has a “Why we exist” section that reads:
“Paul Walker lived life full of heart and character. His acts of kindness were impactful beyond his years. This foundation is an enduring light of Paul’s unique spirit. Led by Meadow Walker, the foundation hopes to leave people better educated and equipped to deal with the challenges of tomorrow.”
Meadow also honored her father’s legacy with a cameo in 'Fast X.'
On May 11, 2023, Meadow shared a behind-the-scenes image of herself doing a cameo for Fast X, which came out on May 19, 2023. "The first fast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors," she captioned the photo. Later in the same caption, she wrote: “I am so blessed to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share this with him forever x.”
Meadow expresses her love for her father often.
“I love and miss you endlessly. Today and everyday I celebrate your life, your love. And you, my best friend,” Meadow wrote on the anniversary of his death in 2021. Their bond continues to be strong even after his death. He must have been a very loving father.
She celebrates what would have been his birthday every year.
On his birthday in 2022, Meadow posted a sweet image of herself as a child smiling from ear to ear as she presses up against her father, who stares at the camera with those piercing blue eyes.
