As a refresher, Paris married entrepreneur Carter Reum on November 11, 2021, in a star-studded wedding ceremony, which was featured on the Peacock reality series Paris in Love. A year after saying, “I do,” the couple decided to start a family via surrogate. Phoenix was born on January 16, 2023, and their daughter, London, was born on November 11, 2023.

Paris revealed there will be a petting zoo at Phoenix’s first birthday party.

During an episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show airing on January 24, Jennifer Hudson brought up the fact that Phoenix celebrated his first birthday on January 16. Paris shared she was throwing a party for her son the following weekend.

“We are going to have a petting zoo and a ball pit and slides,” she explained. “I know he’s only 1. All the parents are coming, and they’re going to bring some older kids as well. So it’ll just be fun for all ages over at the house.”

She discussed what Phoenix is like as a big brother, too.

Jennifer also asked Paris about how Phoenix has adjusted to being a big brother. “He’s very curious. He’ll always be, like, peeking over into her crib,” the mom of two shared. “And then when I’m holding her, he’ll come up and just, like, be petting her head. He’s so gentle and sweet with her.”

Paris posted a heartfelt birthday tribute for Phoenix on Instagram.

On her son’s actual birthday, Paris penned a sweet Instagram tribute to Phoenix. “One year ago, a beautiful angel baby entered our lives, bringing so much love and happiness ✨,” she wrote. “My precious little one, you are more than a dream come true. You make my life complete .”

She also posted a TikTok video honoring her son’s birthday.

The clip showed her 1-year-old sitting adorably in a fuzzy chair that looked like a teddy bear. “At the studio recording my 2nd album with Baby P✨ ✨,” she wrote. “Which artists would you like me to do a song with? ”

She spoke with Jennifer Hudson about her new album—and whether her kids are musically included.

Paris briefly spoke with Jennifer about her upcoming second studio album, which Sia is producing. “It’s all about my legacy and about love and just celebrating my life,” she shared.

She also revealed her son’s love for music. “Phoenix loves music. I was in the recording studio with him last night,” she told Jennifer. “He just learned how to dance recently… I love singing 'Stars Are Blind' to him at night as a lullaby. That’s his favorite song.”
