That's because Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset amid new cheating rumors — and fans are calling his response to the move "weird."

To recap, the "WAP" singer and the former Migos member started dating in early 2017 and married in September of that same year. Cardi B and Offset welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Kulture, in July 2018. In September 2021, their son, Wave, was born. Now, Offset and Cardi B are simultaneously expecting their third child and in the process of ending their seven-year marriage.
On July 31, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset.
Cardi B filed for divorce from her estranged husband on July 31, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper's rep confirmed to Page Six. A source with knowledge of the situation reportedly told the news outlet that the most recent cheating rumors involving Offset prompted the filing.
“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the source reportedly said. “This is something she wants to do.”
Cardi B is seeking primary custody of her and Offset's kids.
Eagle-eyed Instagram users noticed Offset's reaction to an article about Cardi B filing for divorce.
On August 1, The Neighborhood Talk Instagram account posted about Cardi B's filing for divorce from Offset. More than 39,000 users liked the update. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Offset was among those who tapped the "like" button.
One X account declared Offset was 'weird' for liking the post.
Over on X, the Executive Media account shared a screenshot of Offset among the Instagram users who liked the post.
"Offset is weird for this," it declared.
"Oh well shes richer," one fan commented, sharing that Cardi's estimated net worth is $80 million versus Offset's $28 million.
Another speculated, "I think his stupid azz liked it because it said 'it’s what she wanted' not him."
Meanwhile, someone else wrote, "The reality will click it is all games at the beginning clown."
Offset also posted a video of himself rapping lyrics to an unreleased song.
In addition to liking a post about Cardi B filing for divorce, Offset posted a video that seemingly responded to the news. On August 1, the rapper sang along to an unreleased song posted via his Instagram Story. The lyrics Offset rapped to declare he was "single" and that "this tension is old."
After the divorce news broke, Cardi B revealed she is pregnant with baby No. 3.
On August 1, Cardi B took to Instagram to announce she is pregnant with her third child. "With every ending comes a new beginning!" she captioned the update, including a carousel of baby bump photos.
The expecting mom thanked fans for their ongoing support, later writing in the caption: "It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!"
Cardi B previously filed for divorce but reconciled with Offset.
This isn't the first time Cardi B and Offset were on the brink of splitting for good. In 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce amid reports that Offset had been unfaithful. However, the couple reconciled soon afterward, and the case was dismissed that November, per Billboard.
