Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have done it again! They have induced a communal cringe by sharing just a little too much of their love story with the public. Oh, and this time around they’ve also managed to steal Valentine’s Day and turn it into Baby Boy Barker Conception Day because—yup, you guessed it—that’s when their first child together was conceived. Not that anyone asked.
More from MamásLatinas: Kourtney Kardashian opens up about 'awful' IVF experience
To be fair, it was mostly Travis who brought the “eww” this time around. All Kourtney did was share a carousel of pictures and videos on Instagram with the caption: “One year ago today ❤️.” But, Travis could not leave it at that because that’s just not how he rocks or rolls. No, he has to pop some punk into it to make it his.
Check out how he did it! And also, please know that I’m not actually mad about their oversharing. I’ve just got my tongue stuck in my cheek that’s all. They can celebrate their love in any way they want, even if it makes me cringe sometimes.
Kourtney shared throwback images of a getaway they took in February 2023.
And what a getaway it was! They stayed at the uber-luxe Amangiri resort in Utah. The starting price for a suite at this place is $3,550 a night, but if you want a suite with a large pavilion, be prepared to pay up to $9,050 a night. The resort is close to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park and boasts stunning views of red sandstone cliffs and spires.
As mentioned, Kourtney’s caption was pretty tame.
She wrote, “One year ago today ❤️,” as the caption to the carousel that included a pretty sizzling picture of her in a red bikini, knee-high boots, and an open bathrobe. She was smiling from ear to ear and now we know it could have been because she just got some.
Kourtney’s post wasn’t particularly cringe-worthy.
Or it wasn’t until Travis dropped into the comments section and wrote: “We made baby Rocky .” Why, Travis, why? Why did you have to turn a downright sweet and almost totally demure post into X-rated imagery in my brain?
Not everyone cringed at the news.
“This where Rocky was put in the oven lol it was the magic there that did it ,” one delighted fan wrote.
“Well this is just the perfect cozy romantic situation,” another fan chimed in. "Which brings me to my next point.. calculating the date of conception ."
Rocky Thirteen Barker was born on November 1, 2023.
You guys do the math regarding time of conception because I’m too tired. What I can tell you is that Rocky is the couple’s first child together. Kourtney and Travis went through the IVF wringer trying to conceive him. IVF did not work for them and made Kourtney miserable. They decided to leave it up to nature instead and nature provided.
They each have children from previous relationships.
Rocky Thirteen is their first child together, but they each came into their relationship as parents already. Kourtney shares three children with her ex Scott Disick: Mason Disick, Penelope Disick, and Reign Disick. Travis shares three kids with ex-wife Shanna Moakler: stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, son Landon Barker, and daughter Alabama Barker.
They shared the news of their pregnancy on June 16, 2023.
Kourtney had already been pregnant for a few months when she did a pregnancy reveal at a Blink-182 concert. Travis drums for the band and the reveal was an homage to a video for the band’s 1999 song “All the Small Things.” Of course, he already knew she was pregnant, the reveal was for the fans.
The couple got engaged in October 2021.
Travis had a huge rose and candle arrangement set up on the beach at Montecito, California. He got down on one knee and proposed to Kourtney in the middle of the arrangement. It was sweet and when Kourt shared pics on IG, she wrote: “forever @travisbarker.”
Kourtney and Travis have been married since 2022.
The couple celebrated three weddings to each other: a “practice one” in Las Vegas on April 4, 2022; a legally binding one on May 15, 2022; and a religious over-the-top Dolce & Gabbana extravaganza one in Italy on May 22, 2022.
Do you know where and when you were conceived?
I don’t, but Rocky Thirteen will grow up knowing where and when his conception took place. I wonder if every time Valentine’s Day rolls around, he’ll be thinking, “Oh, it’s my conception day!” It’s all good because it’s all love and love is a very good thing.
