It’s a well-known fact that the Kardashian-Jenners love a good party—and they’re willing to pull out all the stops to ensure their get-togethers leave a lasting impression. From A-list guest lists to elaborate decorations and food, the reality star family’s celebrations are made for Instagram. It makes sense, then, that Kim Kardashian would share photos and video clips from her daughter Chicago West's Bratz-themed sixth birthday party. And the visuals certainly didn’t disappoint.

As a refresher, Kim shares four children with her ex-husband, Kanye West. Their eldest, daughter North West, is 10, followed by son Saint, 8, Chicago, who just turned 6, and son Psalm, 4. Here’s a closer look at Chi’s big day!
Kim teased Chicago’s impending birthday.
On January 12, Kim shared her excitement for Chicago’s upcoming big day. “It’s someone’s birthday soon,” she captioned an Instagram photo of mother and daughter posing together. The post came three days before her sixth birthday on January 15.
On her daughter's birthday, Kim wrote a touching birthday shoutout for Chi.
“I honestly didn’t know too much about what raising a Capricorn girl would be like but you make it so easy and fun and silly!!! I can already see the determination and ambition you have within you,” the doting mom captioned a carousel of photos of her and Chicago. “You are so smart, sweet, silly and so lovable to everyone around you especially your cousins! It’s magical to see you all together and all the love that exists between the tribe. I love you so much Chi Chi and can’t believe you are 6 years old! I’m so so so happy to be your mommy!”
Kim revealed Chicago had a Bratz-themed sixth birthday party.
Over on Kim's Instagram Story, followers were treated with a glimpse of the birthday girl’s festivities. The theme this year was Bratz—and the decorations looked so fun! Take a look at the pink runway filled with Bratz cutouts and balloons.
The party included a fashion show.
Of course, you can’t have a runway without a fashion show. Kim also posted a clip of the birthday girl strutting alongside her cousin, Dream Kardashian, while sporting some serious fashion choices. Will there be a couple more models coming from the Kar-Jenner family?
Chicago also had custom drinks for her birthday.
It’s not a Kardashian party without drinks inspired by the person of honor. For Chi’s b-day, guests could choose from a list of “fashion floats” to sip on. Flavors included strawberry, creamsicle, root beer, Cherry Coke, and Coke.
Kim’s followers got to see Chi blow out her birthday candles.
Another video Kim shared on her Instagram Story showed Chicago blowing out her birthday candles. Guests sang to the birthday girl as she stood next to her cake, decorated with various shades of pink in a heart shape. Chi successfully extinguished all six candles (after several adorable attempts).
The inside of her cake held a surprise.
A final video from Chicago’s birthday party showed what happened after they cut the first slice of cake. In the clip, they counted down and then pulled out the slice of cake, revealing a candy avalanche. A pile of pink and white sprinkles and candy balls poured out from the center of the cake, as little fingers grabbed some to munch on.
We know one likely birthday present Chi received.
Although Kim didn’t share photos of Chi’s birthday presents, we know at least one gift she likely received. "Every year, I write each one of my kids about a four- or five-page letter on their birthday about what the year was like," Kim said during a May 2023 appearance on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast. "Who their friends are, silly words they’re saying, their favorite foods, all the silly things they do and a little journey of what the year is like.”
Kim also shared photos of Chi through the years.
In addition to posting photos from her daughter’s party, Kim shared re-shared throwback picture collages featuring Chi. “Baby Chi Chi,” the text read alongside photos of Chicago as an infant. “Happy birthday, you are the most beautiful girl in the world, little superstar! We love you so much.”
Another collage showed Chicago as a toddler versus today.
Kim also shared a photo split of her holding Chi as a toddler versus a more recent snap. “Kim’s twin,” the overlain text declared. And we’d have to agree!
The adorable mother-daughter photos kept coming.
A final collage that Kim shared was a four-way split of pictures featuring her and her younger daughter. In each shot, Kim is either holding Chi, or they are sweetly embracing. “Birthday girl,” text read, along with a heart emoji.
Khloé Kardashian posted in honor of Chi as well.
Kim’s younger sister, Khloé Kardashian, took to her Instagram Story to give Chicago a birthday shoutout. In the first image, the loving aunt wrote, “Happy birthday to our sweet Chi Chi,” adding white hearts for good measure. The picture showed Chicago and Khloé's daughter, True Thompson, posing while wearing Kardashian T-shirts.
Khloé continued to express her adoration.
In another Instagram Story segment, Khloé continued her birthday shoutout. She wrote, “True, Tatum and I love you so much!!” The photo showed Khloé, True and Chi posing while on a Disneyland ride.
Kris Jenner posted a birthday tribute for Chi, too.
“Happy birthday to my angel pie Chi Chi!!!!! You are such a beautiful girl inside and out and your smile brightens everyone’s day!!!!” Kim’s mom declared on Instagram. “You are the most amazing granddaughter, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend and you are so kind, sweet, smart, creative, generous, loving and give the best hugs! You are such a blessing in our lives my sweet girl and I love you to the moon and back ❣️ .”
Last year, Kim threw Chi a Hello Kitty birthday party.
For the Kar-Jenners, each birthday celebration has to have a theme. And Chi was all about Hello Kitty when she turned 5. Photos Kim shared via Instagram showed hundreds of pink balloons, Hello Kitty stuffed animals, rides, and even someone dressed in a Hello Kitty costume—proving once again the family's dedication to extravagant celebrations.
