Despite what critics may think about her family's reality TV or her overall brand, it's difficult to deny that Kim Kardashian is a loving mother. Her eldest daughter, North West, has been featured on Hulu's The Kardashians in recent years, and it's clear that she regularly tests her famous mom's patience. However, now-viral then and now videos of Kim in eighth grade and North proved they are basically twins.
To recap, Kim shares four children with her ex-husband, Kanye West. North, 11, was born in June 2013. Next came her brother, Saint West, 8 (born in December 2015), Chicago West, 6 (born in January 2018), and Psalm West, 5 (born in May 2019). As much as fans swear North is Kayne's twin, the new video circulating on social media suggests otherwise.

'Entertainment Tonight' recently posted a video featuring Kim Kardashian as a kid and North West.
On October 15, Entertainment Tonight shared a video via TikTok from two different time periods. The clip on the top showed a recent snippet of North's interview for the cover of Interview magazine. In the second video, an eighth-grade Kim hammed it up for the camera.
In the first clip, North absolutely hammed it up.
"Hey, it's me — North West," the 11-year-old declared in the top video. Her hair was half-up and half-down with two buns on the top of her head. Additionally, North's eyes bugged out excitedly and she ended her intro by playfully sticking out her tongue.
Kim surprisingly gave off the same energy in her childhood video.
The typically very calm and demure Kim, 43, was much more like North when she had just finished eighth grade. In the clip, the young Skims founder held a microphone and said, "My name is Kim Kardashian, and I'm the dopest on the rope-est person in this class. She 'dope' is Kim." After dancing free-spiritedly, she added, "And I know you'll all miss me because you all love me…And does everyone get a tape of this? Because I hope you do so you can see me when I'm famous and all of you are going to remember me as this beautiful little girl."
In the comments, TikTok users couldn't believe how similar Kim and North's personalities are.
Folks in the comments couldn't get over how similar Kim and North are in the video.
One TikTok user wrote, "The fact we were all saying she's so Kanye whole time she's Kim."
Another commented, "That's why Kourtney said North was her lesson because she's a version of herself ."
Someone else agreed, pointing out, "Kim always saying north will be the death of her but north is LITERALLY kim."
Meanwhile, yet another fan wrote, "North sounds just like her, game goofy personality ."
Others were in awe of how accurately Kim predicted her future fame.
Familial similarity aside, other fans were floored by Kim made her celebrity status a reality.
One TikTok user commented, "Her manifestation is so fascinating."
Another echoed, "She manifested her fame ."
A different follower merely quoted younger Kim, writing, "'I hope you do so you can see me when I'm famous.'"
Kim reposted the video to her Instagram Story.
On October 16, Kim reposted the Entertainment Tonight video of her and North to her Instagram Story. She didn't add any commentary or emojis to the caption. But by sharing it on her own social media account, she likely agrees with the original video's caption: "North West Brings the Same Energy as Her Mom ."
