Khloé Kardashian opens up about her son & reveals his name keeps with family tradition

Those who keep up with the Kardashians know the sisters have a tendency to share intimate details about their lives with fans and the general public. Whether this is through their reality TV shows, on social media, or through interviews, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé and their half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, don’t hold on to many secrets. However, Khloé Kardashian has kept uncharacteristically quiet about one important part of her life: the baby boy she shares with her ex Tristan Thompson. Khloé immediately shared her daughter True Thompson's name after she was born in 2018, so folks have understandably been scratching their heads.

Khloé and Tristan's son was born via surrogate on July 28, 2022, in the wake of yet another cheating scandal that rocked their relationship. Although they initially couldn’t decide on a name for their baby boy, they have since settled on a moniker — but opted not to publicly announce it. This has frustrated fans who are used to being up to date by the minute when it comes to all things Kardashian. Fast-forward to April 2023, and Khloé has finally spilled a key detail about her son’s name. Let’s take a closer look at what she shared!

Khloé Kardashian explained why she hasn't shared her baby boy's name yet.

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, which aired on April 5, Khloé sat down with Jennifer to chat about motherhood and the premiere of season two of The Kardashians on Hulu. This is when the Good American mogul explained why she hasn't revealed her son's name.

"At first, I really did not know what I was going to name him. I wanted to meet him and feel him out a little bit," she told Jennifer. "And so at first, he didn't have a name. Then, he's been named but I've been waiting for the premiere of our show, and I didn't know that it was going to be this far out. So now I'm just like, 'If my daughter outs me, I'm going to be screwed.'"

She also shared in the interview that her son's name starts with this letter.

When Jennifer pressed her for more details, Khloé confirmed the first letter of her son's name. "I think it will start with a T," she said coyly. So it looks like she and Tristan stuck with the "T" alliteration after all, just like Tristan Thompson and True Thompson. Here are some of our best guesses: Tristan Jr., Trevor Thompson, or Tyree Thompson.

Khloé said True loves being a big sister!

In addition to teasing when her infant son's name will finally be revealed (The Kardashians season three premieres on May 25), Khloé spoke about how True has adjusted to life with a baby brother.

"She loves being a big sister," Khloé explained. "I was worried because I wasn't pregnant, and I didn't know if it would be hard for her to understand. And it's just crazy how resilient and instinctual children are, and she's maternal and loving. And she's such a good big sister."

We can't wait to (hopefully) see more photos showing the sibling love between True and her baby brother. And you can bet we'll be tuning in to The Kardashians in May to finally find out his name!
