Tristan Thompson, aka the father of both of Khloé Kardashian's kids, turned 32 on March 13. His mother, Andrea Thompson, died of a heart attack in early January. To put things in context, that means this is the first year that the NBA player celebrated his birthday since his mother’s death. We’re sure it could not have been easy for him, and perhaps that’s why his ex Khloé felt compelled to share a tribute to him on Instagram that includes pictures of him with their two kids for the first time. The former couple are parents to True and a baby boy whose name has not been revealed yet.

In the tribute, the Good American founder writes some very kind words about Tristan. This is mighty big of her, considering that he has not always treated her well and has let her down time and time again. Still, he is the father of her children, and she has always been very supportive of him. She even flew to Toronto to be there for him when his mother died. Whatever has happened between Khloé and Tristan, she continues to treat him as the beloved father of her children. Check out the pictures and tribute she shared.
The first picture in the carousel Khloé shared shows Tristan and three of his kids.
Tristan has his arms wrapped around True, Prince Oliver—the son he shares with ex-Jordan Craig—and the 7-month-old baby whose name we don’t know yet. The baby boy was brought into the world with the help of a surrogate. Notably, not in the picture is Theo, the son Tristan had with Maralee Nichols and Khloé had to find out about from the press.

Tristan smiles as his two kids with Khloé sit on his lap and he reaches over to hold the hand of his 16-year-old brother, Amari. Amari has epilepsy and is an inspiration to Tristan. “My younger brother fights each and every day. Most 16-year-olds can enjoy life and have the freedom and be able to experience things with their peers. It’s harder for him,” Tristan said at an Epilepsy Foundation event. “He motives me. Why not keep working each day? There’s no reason for me not to get up and push to be not only a better basketball player but a better human being.”

That face! Those chubby-wubby cheeks! That nose! This picture is the fourth in the carousel, and baby boy is seemingly mesmerized by his father. We may not know his name yet, but we sure do know that he could not possibly be any cuter.
What did Khloé write about Tristan in her birthday tribute?
"Happy birthday @realtristan13. You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you'll ever know to your family of littles," she wrote in the caption.
And her birthday wish for him?
She concluded her birthday tribute with the following: "My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing, and transformation. Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Continue to Make your soul and your mommy proud.”
