When it comes to relationships, Khloé has experienced some devastating breakups through the years. Among the most notable heartbreaks, however, has been with NBA player Tristan Thompson, the father of her two children. He was photographed with two different women just days before Khloé gave birth to their first child, True Thompson. And when Khloé was pregnant with their son, she learned he had fathered a child with another woman at the time she and Tristan were dating. Let's take a closer look at Khloé and Tristan's relationship today.
Interestingly, Tristan recently moved back to Los Angeles.
On April 9, Tristan officially signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, ESPN reported. This means that for the foreseeable future, he'll live in the same city where Khloé and their two children live. On top of this, Tristan also recently purchased a home three houses down from Khloé's.
Does this mean Khloé and Tristan are getting back together?
Folks have naturally speculated that Khloé and Tristan may have rekindled their relationship. As Hello! magazine reported, Khloé liked the Lakers' Instagram post announcing Tristan's signing. Plus, in March she posted a birthday tribute to the father of her children. Is it possible they could really be back together?
Khloé hinted at her relationship status in a recent Instagram post.
On April 19, Khloé shared a series of snaps of her posing with Alexa Lemieux from Love Is Blind season three. The women were at a Good American event, and photos highlighted their striking physical resemblance. Alongside the carousel of pictures, Khloé wrote: "When Hulu and Netflix collide @mrsalexalemieux you beautiful girl you! Twins ♀️ I think some of us single K sisters should go on LIB. What do you think?" It seems Khloé is single, after all!
Khloé also posted about 'moving on' in an Instagram Story.
On April 22, Khloé shared a cryptic quote to her Instagram Stories that seemed to confirm her status as a single woman. In one of the updates, she quoted author Robert M. Drake, per the U.S. Sun. She said "moving on is hard," explaining she was sick of others reciting unhelpful clichés about breakups.
"Well, I know I'll eventually get over it. And I know it takes time. I just want someone who understands how hard all of this is," she continued. "Someone who's been there. Who knows what to really say. Even if they have no words to express what it is I feel."
Khloé previously spoke about how she was learning to 'un-love' Tristan.
In late 2022, Khloé made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, during which she discussed how she was learning to "un-love" Tristan. "When I said I'm learning how to un-love Tristan, I think people—whether it be family, or friends, or anyone that you're telling your story to—they're like, 'OK, so move on.' And I'm like, 'No.' It's not that easy," she told Kelly.
Khloé continued, "Just even the habits you build, the repetition, the routine. When something good happened, I would call Tristan, or if something bad, that's what I did. Any little thing, I would share my life with him. And so learning to just reprogram myself…It doesn't happen overnight."
