Jessica, 43, and Cash, 45, seemed like the perfect pairing on paper; she’s an actress, and he’s a film producer. Although they made it nearly 17 years as husband and wife, they recently pulled the plug on their coupledom. Let’s take a look back at their journey.

In 2004, Jessica and Cash met on the set of Fantastic Four. She portrayed Sue Storm in the superhero movie, while he worked as a director’s assistant.
“Right after I met [Cash], I called my best friend and was like, ‘I met this guy and I feel like I’ve known him forever and I’m going to know him for the rest of my life,'” Jessica told Cosmopolitan in September 2010, per PopSugar.
December 2007: They confirm they're expecting their first baby and they're engaged.
In December 2007, Jessica’s rep confirmed she was pregnant with her first child. It wasn’t long afterward when the actress was spotted in public with a ring on *that* finger. Roughly two weeks after the pregnancy news, Jessica’s rep confirmed her and Cash’s engagement.
May 19, 2008: Jessica and Cash get married.
Jessica and Cash said “I do” on May 19, 2008, at the Beverly Hills courthouse.
In 2022, she dished on their low-key wedding ceremony during an interview with Glamour UK.
“We eloped and I think I was nine months pregnant!” she told the publication. “It wasn’t planned. It was literally, ‘Honey, do you have anything to do this morning?’ And he was like, ‘No.’ So I said, ‘Should we go to the courthouse and get married?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah.'”
She added, “And then I said, ‘Can we get waffles afterwards because I have a doctor’s appointment? Will you come to my doctor’s appointment?’ And that’s how it happened!”
June 7, 2008: They welcome their first child, a daughter named Honor.
Jessica and Cash became parents on June 7, 2008, with the birth of their daughter, Honor Marie Warren.
On Honor’s 16th birthday, the doting mom penned a touching Instagram tribute.
“I’m crying writing this -it’s the most tender feeling in the world being your mom,” Jessica wrote in the caption alongside a slideshow of photos. “Your sweet but wise disposition from day one -only allowing those who you trust closest to you- is inspiring.”
Later, she added, “You are a powerhouse of a human and you are only 16! We are all so blessed my baby and I feel tremendously grateful for our relationship -for our bond. You chose me to be your mama baby girl -it has been the greatest gift my angel. I love you more than words could ever express. You are growing up way too fast for me 🥺 but I couldn’t be more proud.”
February 2011: Jessica and Cash share they're expecting Baby No. 2.
A few years later, Jessica and Cash decided to grow their family.
“I thought I’d drop by to let you all in on some exciting news — Honor is going to be a Big Sister!” she wrote on Twitter, per People. “Cash and I are thrilled and wanted to share the news directly with you so you didn’t hear about it somewhere else. I appreciated all of the love and support you all gave me during my first pregnancy and will definitely appreciate it again this time around. Have a great day!”
Meanwhile, Cash added, “@jessicaalba are beyond excited about the news! Honor is going to be a great big sister. Thank you all for the wonderful messages!!”
August 13, 2011: Their daughter, Haven, is born.
Cash and Jessica became a family of four on August 13, 2015, with the birth of their daughter, Haven Garner Warren.
“She was born on Saturday, weighed 7 lbs. and was 19 inches long. Healthy and happy!” Jessica wrote on Facebook at the time. “Big sister Honor couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to our family.”
She added, “Thank you for all of your support during my pregnancy. It means the world to me.”
July 17, 2017: They reveal Jessica is pregnant with their third child.
The baby train didn’t stop there! On July 17, 2017, Cash and Jessica shared that baby No. 3 was on the way.
“@cash_warren and I are officially going to be outnumbered #babyonboard #herewegoagain 👶🏼🤰🏽#blessed🙏,” she captioned an Instagram announcement featuring a photo of Honor with “1” balloon, Haven holding a “2” balloon, and Jessica displaying a “3” balloon.
December 31, 2017: Their son, Hayes is born.
On New Year’s Eve 2017, Jessica and Cash welcomed baby No. 3, their first son.
“Hayes Alba Warren 12/31/17 Best gift to ring in the New Year!!” she announced via Instagram. “Cash and I feel so blessed. Haven and Honor are already obsessed with their new baby bro. 👶🏽💙 #familyof5.”
September 2021: Jessica opens up about what makes their marriage work.
Jessica spoke with People in September 2021 about what made her and Cash’s marriage work.
“At different times, there were different things that we needed. Around the time I had the kids, it was like, ‘I need [date night] once a week,'” she explained. “And he’s been like, ‘I need you to be present on the weekends and not work.’ Over-communicating, maybe that’s it.”
She continued, “I don’t think we have a secret at all. We just have to check each other.”
January 8, 2025: Jessica and Cash are reportedly separating.
On January 8, 2025, TMZ reported that Jessica and Cash have separated. Sources with knowledge of the situation told the outlet that they are moving forward with a divorce. As of writing, neither Jessica nor Cash have confirmed or denied the report.
