Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage has reportedly been in shambles for much of 2024. From the couple's lack of joint public appearances, to reportedly looking to sell their $60 million mansion, to continuous impending divorce reports, things aren't looking great for Bennifer 2.0.

Jen and Ben started dating in 2002 after meeting on the set of their film, Gigli. Despite getting engaged later that year, they called off their wedding in early 2004. Nearly two decades later, Bennifer rekindled their relationship in May 2021, got engaged in April 2022, and said "I do" that July in Las Vegas.
A source claims the chance of Jen and Ben reconciling is 'slim.'
On July 8, a source told Page Six that the odds of J.Lo and Ben repairing their marriage are "slim" at this point. The insider told the news outlet that Jen is still "smitten" with Ben. But she is reportedly spending her summer focused on "health, happiness and joy."
Reportedly, 'nothing can break' Jennifer's spirit.
Additionally, the Page Six source claimed of Jennifer, "Nothing can break her spirit." They source said of her priorities for the season, "She wants to have a summer full of fun and laughter."
Ben and Jen spent the Fourth of July apart.
A source close to Jennifer told People that the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer spent Independence Day "with family and friends." She did so in the Hamptons in New York, as she "always enjoys" spending time there. "She seems fine," the source said of J.Lo.
Meanwhile, Ben was reportedly in Los Angeles spending time with his kids.
Not long afterward, J.Lo was photographed shopping with her kids and their friends.
On July 6, Jen was photographed shopping with one of her twins and some of her friends. The singer shopped in the Hamptons that Saturday with Emme, 16, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony (in addition to her son, Max). J.Lo stepped out wearing a pink floral dress and sunglasses.
On July 7, Jennifer posted a breakup song on Instagram.
Jennifer took to Instagram on July 7 to post a portion of her 2021 music video for "Cambia el Paso." In the caption, she wrote, "Happy Anniversary Cambia El Paso … ☀️ ."
Fans definitely noticed the lyrics of the video. Translated from Spanish to English via Page Six, J.Lo sings, "Her life is better now without him … She doesn’t need anyone to be well / She does not fail, she does not fail."
The lyrics continue: "He doesn’t deserve to have her in his arms."
Sources claim Ben and Jen's marriage has 'been over for months.'
On July 1, an anonymous source told Page Six that J.Lo and Ben's marriage has been "over for months." The couple has reportedly been on the outs since March.
As of writing, neither Ben nor Jen has publicly commented on the reports of marital strife.
