Jen and Ben started dating and eventually got engaged in 2002 after meeting on the set of their film Gigli. In early 2004, they called off their relationship — only to reunite nearly 20 years later in 2021. Bennifer said "I do" in July 2022 in Las Vegas before having a second larger wedding the following month. Today, they are in the middle of a divorce after two years of marriage and no prenup.
J.Lo is reportedly 'close to making a deal' for the famous Azria Estate.
Jennifer isn't done making money moves, it seems. After J.Lo sold her New York City penthouse and listed her and Ben's Beverly Hills mansion, inside sources told TMZ that J.Lo is currently negotiating to purchase a property called the Azria Estate in Holmby Hills. She is reportedly "close to striking a deal."
Reportedly, Jennifer hopes to pay significantly less for the home.
Per TMZ, the 30,000-square-foot mansion is listed for $55 million. But J.Lo is attempting to talk down the price. The source said the "On the Floor" singer hopes to secure the property for between $30 million and $39 million.
The property seems like the perfect place to relax and recharge after a difficult year.
The estate was owned by French-American fashion designer Max Azria, who founded the women's clothing brand BCBG Max Azria. The estate features a 14-bedroom home and includes a greenhouse, a guest house, and an infinity pool with a sauna on its 2.81 acres with gardens, according to the listing. Additionally, the home includes a game room and an in-home theater.
Currently, there's some drama with the Azria Estate.
The Azria Estate was auctioned off early in 2023, with billionaire Ron Burkle winning the property for $30 million. As TMZ reported, Ron is now in a lawsuit against Max Azria's widow, Lubov Azria, due to an alleged breach of contract. Jennifer reportedly hopes to negotiate with Lubov and Ron to strike a deal.
Jen actually has a history with the property.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time Jennifer has been interested in the Azria Estate, per TMZ. She and Ben considered the mansion in 2023 when they were looking to buy a home together. Additionally, the home was a filming location for Jen's film Atlas, which was released in May 2024.
If Jen buys it, she would have some famous neighbors.
Jen will have no shortage of famous neighbors if she does purchase the Azria estate. The mansion is next to ex-boyfriend Diddy's property, which was recently listed for $61 million. Meanwhile, Sean Parker, Tom Ford, and Jimmy Iovine are also nearby.
