There's something about parenthood that unites humankind. Regardless if you're a celebrity or an average Joe, raising kids is somewhat of a universal experience that has a way of humbling all of us—even the biggest stars out there. On Mother's Day 2023, plenty of celebrity moms took to social media to share how they observed the holiday celebrating some of the most important women in their lives.

Whether they offered a glimpse into their family's celebration, posted a general shoutout to all moms, or penned a touching tribute to their own mama, stars didn't hold back on Mother's Day this year. Stars that posted included Kylie Jenner, Sofia Vergara, Cardi B, Chrissy Teigen. Let's take a closer look at how their special day went down.
Kylie Jenner shared photos with Stormi and Aire Webster on Mother's Day.
Kylie Jenner's message was simple on Mother's Day 2023, as she captioned an Instagram post with, "Happy Mother’s Day ." The Kardashians star included a carousel of photos, with the featured slot being a mirror selfie with her two kids, Stormi and Aire Webster. Also spotted among the pictures were Kylie's mom, Kris Jenner, and grandma, Mary Jo Campbell.
Cardi B shared photos and videos of her kids, too.
Cardi B made sure to post photos and videos of her two kiddos on Mother's Day 2023. (She shares Kulture and Wave Cephus with husband Offset.) The doting mama captioned her Instagram post with, "My favorite holiday,I birth my best friends …..HAPPY MOTHERS DAY BEAUTIFULS ."
Sofía Vergara shared a Mother's Day meal with her family.
On May 14, Sofía Vergara posted an Instagram selfie of her family out to eat while celebrating Mother's Day. She wore a hot pink dress and was smiling next to her husband, Joe Manganiello. In the background, Sofía's son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara (who she shares with her ex-husband Joe Gonzalez) can be seen smiling. It looks like Sofía's dog, a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix named Bubbles, joined, too!
Beyoncé posted a sweet shoutout to her mom.
Although Beyoncé didn't share any photos of her three children on Mother's Day, she did post a sweet Instagram shoutout to her own mother. The "Single Ladies" singer wrote: "Happy Muva’s Day. I love you so much Mama and I’m so grateful for all you do for me." In the featured image was a photo of her mom Tina Knowles and dad Mathew Knowles when they were younger. A short clip of Tina dancing (presumably at one of Beyoncé's concerts) was also included.
Chrissy Teigen posted photos of her three kids and the various moms in her life.
Chrissy Teigen posted an Instagram carousel honoring "all the people who make it possible for me to be the best mother I can possibly be." In it, we spotted the three kiddos she shares with husband John Legend—Luna, Miles, and Esti Stephens—as well as her mother, Vilailuck "Pepper" Teigen, her mother-in-law, Phyllis Stephens, and the nannies who help take care of her kids. Chrissy continued, "I am endlessly thankful for your presence in this home and all our lives. we love you. "
Jennifer Lopez shared a Mother's Day message with the help of Netflix.
Jennifer Lopez didn't post photos of her own mom or kids, but she did share a heartwarming message to all moms via Netflix's Instagram account.
"If you are getting this message, it's because someone thought you are an amazing and downright fierce mom," she said in the video. "And you know what? It's true. Motherhood is messy, unpredictable, and beautiful. You make it look like a work of art. The things that everyone knows about you, here they are: You are strong. You are capable. You are tenacious. Your children are blessed to have you in their corner. Now, go get those kisses from your kids. Happy Mother's Day!"

In 2018, Eva Longoria and her husband José "Pepe" Bastón welcomed their son, Santiago Enrique Bastón. The actor shared a photo on Instagram in honor of Mother's Day, and it featured a photo of Eva, her son, and her mom. "Happy Mother’s Day to all the bad a– mamas out there," she captioned the post. "Especially mine! Love you mommy! And to my sweet Santino, thank you for choosing me to be your mama, greatest job in the world! ."
Paris Hilton celebrated her first Mother's Day with photos of her son, Phoenix.

Barack Obama wished a happy Mother's Day to all moms—including wife Michelle.
