In the late 1990s and early '00s, Victoria Beckham was at the height of her fame as a member of the English girl group, the Spice Girls. The high-fashion beauty was widely known as Posh Spice. Recently, she celebrated her 50th birthday—and Victoria's husband, retired pro soccer player David Beckham, gave her a sweet birthday shoutout.

David and Victoria married in July 1999, and they went on to welcome four children. The couple share sons Brooklyn 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and daughter Harper, 12. And David's birthday post for Victoria featured photos of the fashionista from her childhood, to when their kids were little and all the way up to today.
David posted a carousel of never-before-seen pictures of Victoria via Instagram.
On April 17, Victoria turned the big 5-0, and David took to Instagram with an epic tribute for his wife of nearly 25 years.
"Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife," he wrote. "As you head into this birthday you should look back and be proud of what you have accomplished, achieved & what you have built, Posh spice, business woman & of course marrying an England captain ."
David continued: "But your biggest success are your children, you guide them, love them & teach them… They love you beyond words, we all love you so much x Have a special day you deserve it all 50 and fit I AM BEING HONEST @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven ."
In the comments, Victoria replied, "I love you all so much xxxx❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️."
In his post, David included many photos from Victoria's childhood.
In addition to David's heartfelt message, he included a slideshow of photos and videos featuring his wife. The first video showed two of their young kids saying, "Happy birthday, mummy, I love you so much, more than the world!" Next, he included pictures showing an adorable baby Victoria. He even included a snap of her standing in front of her family's Rolls-Royce.
He made sure to include a photo of Victoria's dad's Rolls-Royce.
Those who tuned into David and Victoria's Netflix mini-series Beckham likely remember when he called her out for saying she came from a "working-class" family. "Be honest!" he said from another room before demanding she share what kind of car her dad drove. It was a Rolls-Royce, and David poked fun at the viral moment by including a photo of Victoria smiling in front of the vehicle as a child.
More photos showed Victoria as a tween/teen.
The adorable old snaps kept coming in David's slideshow. In one, a young Victoria struck a pose while dressed up like a cat. Another showed her in what appears to be a dance costume. Yet another shot showed Victoria skiing.
Photos from when they were a young couple welcoming a baby were featured as well.
Also among the flashbacks of Victoria's life were adorable photos of the young couple. One image shows them embracing on a boat, while another features Victoria's bare baby bump. A particularly sweet photo shows David holding up their newborn baby while Victoria smiles for the camera on a hospital bed.
All three of their sons also posted birthday tributes with photos.
David wasn't the only one spreading the birthday love; all three of their sons posted an Instagram tribute for their mom's big day.
"Happy birthday mum xx I love you so much x hope you have the most amazing day ❤️," Brooklyn wrote on Instagram next to a photo of Victoria wearing a bikini while holding him as he ate a banana.
"Happy birthday Mum I love you so much," Cruz wrote on his Instagram grid alongside a photo of Victoria holding his hand and walking when he was a young child.
Meanwhile, Romeo wrote "Happy birthday mum, thank you for everything, hope you have the best day, love you @victoriabeckham," alongside a more recent photo of himself and his mother.
