In 1996, Abby and Brittany Hensel were introduced to the world when they appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Fast forward to 2024, and the sisters are 34. Not only that, but Abby is a married woman. However, just one week after the news of her secret marriage broke, the public learned that Abby's husband was involved in a paternity lawsuit.

According to public records reviewed by Today, Abby and Josh Bowling married in 2021. Abby and Brittany's joint TikTok account has also shared wedding photos. Currently, Brittany and Abby are teachers, and Josh is a nurse and US Army veteran; they live in Minnesota.

In October 2023, Josh's ex-wife, Annica Bowling, filed a paternity lawsuit against him, according to court records, per E! News. She reportedly filed a paternity lawsuit against another individual as well. Although the results of a genetic test were not shared publicly, they were filed in March 2024.

While they were married, Josh and Annica welcomed a daughter, now 8. The couple split in 2019 after nine years of marriage; they finalized their divorce in 2020, E! News reported.
