On January 15, 2018, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who were at the time a happily married couple, became parents for the third time. Kim had been advised that it would not be safe for her to ever get pregnant again and so the couple decided to expand their family with a help of a surrogate, who gave birth to Chicago West. It wasn't until February 26 of that year that Kim first shared an image of Chi.

Her full name is Chicago Noel West. Her first name is a tribute to the city where Kanye grew up, and her middle name also happens to be Kim's middle name. "Chi" or "Chi Chi," as her mom often calls her, is already 6 years old. Can you believe it?! She's growing up before our eyes, and every time that her famous mommy shares a picture of her, we squee because that child is beyond adorable. Hello Kitty was the theme for this darling girl’s birthday in 2023.
Kim had so many Hello Kitty decorations put up. There were pink and red balloons, a Hello Kitty kid-friendly car, a themed slide and ball pit, and so much more. Chicago even rocked pink braid extensions for the celebration.
And Kim's birthday tribute was super sweet.
"My twin. Happy 5th Birthday. I really can’t believe you’re 5! I’m so so proud to be your mom, it’s the best feeling in the entire world," Kim shared alongside a carousel of photos. "You are the cuddliest sweetest silliest most independent caring girl in the whole world and I just love you so much!
She has her mommy's eyes.
Is it me or do the mother daughter duo have the same eyes? I totally see a resemblance there. Oh, and apparently, Chi also inherited her mom's penchant for making kissy faces when taking pictures. Must run in the family.

Chicago posed in sunglasses designed by her father next to her mother. She's got a whole adorable alien thing going on what with the futuristic shades and her hair done up in space buns.

Kim always posts really sweet tributes to her children on their birthdays. Here's what she wrote in honor of Chicago's fourth birthday:
"My birthday baby girl Chi Chi turns 4 today! My independent baby girl twin. You are the most lovable huggable snuggable baby girl on the planet. The ultimate princess! I can’t wait to celebrate with all of the Barbies and LOL Dolls a girl could dream of lol. You really have brought so much joy into our family and I love you so so soooo much!!!!"
Hmm, perhaps Chicago will study law in the future just like her mommy.
Kim has been working hard to become a lawyer, and in December 2021 she passed the California "baby bar" exam, so she's well on her way. Looks like here daughter Chicago might have a bit of lawyer in her as well, because when Kim posted these pictures of a candy cane-wielding Chicago, she wrote: "Chicago trying to convince me she’s allowed to have this candy cane ."

When Chicago turned 3 in 2021, Kim wrote:
"My Chi Chi princess today you are three!!! You have the sweetest little high voice that I could listen to all day! You bring so much magic into all of our lives. My heart is so full that you chose me to be your mommy ✨ I can’t wait to celebrate you with slime and LOL Dolls today! Happy Birthday Chicago."
She's too cute for words!
Even with tomato sauce all over her face, Chicago is adorable and makes you want to let her plant a sloppy kiss on your face. She seems to exude joy and love. Her delightful mood is contagious.
Kim shared a little something about Chi back in 2020.
"My baby Chi Chi likes to dress up like A princess every day ✨ ," wrote Kim when she shared a picture of her youngest daughter dressed as a princess. She certainly looks like a Disney princess in her dress.
She's a snuggler!
Kim posted two pics of herself and Chicago back in June 2020, and they are so freakin' sweet. In one, mommy and daughter are snuggling and getting a big dose of oxytocin from each other. In the second, Chi is fast asleep on Kim. So sweet!
Guess who loves dogs?
That dog is bigger than Chi, and Chi is not the least bit intimidated. She looks totally at ease with the doggie. She's so comfortable that in the second pic, she throws her arms around the pooch and gives it a smooch.
Channeling Minnie Mouse vibes with her cousins.
In January 2020, Chicago and her primas True and Stormi channeled Minnie Mouse vibes with a bit of face paint. All three of them look so dang cute. It must be so nice that they are all so close in age.
She's stylish!
Look at her looking all comfy, casual chic. Her jacket and sweats are oversized, but Chicago manages to look effortlessly stylish as opposed to looking like she's wearing her older siblings' oversized clothing.

Chicago, Stormi, and True all lined up in a row looking like little dolls. Can you believe all three were born in 2018? They get to grow up together and hopefully be close their entire lives.
She's a fan of swings.
You can tell because of the look on her face that she loves flying through the air while safely secured in a swing. This picture was posted on February 16, 2019, so Chi was a little over a year old at the time.
She was pretty graceful for a 1-year-old.
She was an early walker and an early wearer of Dr. Martens boots. "My baby Chicago turned 1 this month and we threw her an Alice in 'One'derland themed party ," wrote Kim when she shared a series of photos of Chicago's birthday celebration.
Kim shared a sweet birthday message in 2019.
"Happy Birthday to my pretty girl Chi!!!! The sweetest baby in the whole world! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!" wrote Kim to her birthday girl on January 15, 2019.

Chicago truly was such a sweet-faced baby. All babies are wonderful, and we're not trying to say that any baby is better than another, but can we all simply acknowledge that Chi was just so sweet-looking as a baby?
She is clearly smitten by Kim's kisses.
Take a close look at Chicago's face as she's getting kissed by her mommy. She looks like she's smiling and having the time of her life. This picture was posted on September 10, 2018, when Chi wasn't even 9 months old.

This picture of True holding her hands over her mouth while Chicago grabs her arm is absolutely hilarious. They look like two tías chismosas who just witnessed something worthy of a telenovela plotline that they can't wait to share.
Why the face, Chi?
OK, what is going on with baby Chi's face in this picture? She looks like she's ready to confront someone, and she's not playing around. That lip is like, "Don't even think of messing with me!"
At 4 months, she had quite a bit of hair.
Her curls hadn't come in yet, but she had enough hair to rock a side part. Such a darling little face framed with that feathery baby hair. And you know the top of her head had that delicious baby smell everyone loves.

Chicago, like her siblings, had gorgeous curly hair. Of course, it took time for her curls to fully develop, but in this picture of her when she was around 3 months old, you can see her hair curling slightly at the ends.
