Celebrities with most beautifully decorated Christmas trees of 2024

How did the whole tradition of decorating Christmas trees get started? Many believe the tradition of Christmas trees dates back to the 16th century and started in Germany. For a long time, the tradition wasn’t embraced in the United States because it was seen as a pagan practice. Then, around the 1820s, people slowly started embracing Christmas trees. Fast forward to today when Christmas trees are a huge symbol of the winter holiday.

More from MamásLatinas: Fun Christmas games the whole family can play

One of my favorite parts of the winter holiday season is the getting and decorating of our yearly tree. Another one of my favorite parts of the holiday season is seeing how others, including celebrities, decorate their trees. Check out some of our favorite celebrities’ Christmas trees I peeped online this year.

Kourtney Kardashian has a whole lotta trees going on.

It stands to reason that when you live in a big ol’ house, or more like a big ol’ mansion, that just one tree might not be enough to create the perfect Christmas ambiance. Perhaps that why Kourtney has a whole lot of Christmas trees on display at her place. Some are rather plain, some are red, and at least one is upside down. Swipe through the pictures she posted on IG on December 1 to see what I’m talkin’ about.

Khloé Kardashian also has multiple trees.

Khloé, also of the Kardashians, has a big ol’ mansion, too. She too has multiple Christmas trees, but hers are pretty uniform, featuring a whole lot of lights and and not much else. I think they call that look the “naked” tree trend.

Kylie Jenner brought out her trusty ornaments.

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kylie Jenner, is sticking to a sweet tradition of using the same ornaments on her main tree every year. They are a tribute to the ornaments that her mother, Kris Jenner, would use when they were growing up. Kris gave them to Kylie and then Kylie bought a whole bunch more to cover the main tree she puts up every year.

María Elena Salinas' tree is awesome.

“It’s Christmas time at our home! 🎄 Of course a nice mimosa to reward ourselves for the hard work 🥂 Thanks for the help sis! ” the journalist wrote when she shared a carousel featuring her decorated Christmas tree and the mimosas she enjoyed with her sister.

Lili Estefan is having a very white Christmas.

The flaca part of El Gordo y la Flaca duo was pretty darned excited to share the predominantly white holiday decor in her home. She pranced around in head-to-toe white herself and thanked floral designer Dariel Hernandez for surrounding her with so much beauty.

Jacqueline Bracamontes went heavy on the white, too.

Her tree features giant ornaments, including adorable gingerbread people. The tree and the rest of her decorations are so impressive and were created with the help of Galo Guilmar Studio, so don’t go comparing your decorations to these professionally styled ones.

Dayanara Torres had help from her sister.

Miss Universe 1993 enjoyed some wine while she and her sister put up and decorated the Christmas tree. Dayanara posted a time-lapse video of the experience on November 27 and it is such a sweet sister-bonding moment.

Adamari López is a fan of family pajamas.

“It’s Christmas time 🎄🎅🏻🎄 Welcome December full of joy, harmony, celebration and family time 🥰!” the mama bear wrote alongside a carousel of photos she shared featuring her lil bear, Alaïa Costa-López, the daughter she shares with ex Toni Costa. Adamari, Alaïa, and other family members look adorable in matching pjs in front of a lovely Christmas tree.

Maribel Guardia and her grandson are leaning into the season.

Maribel shared photos of herself and her beloved grandson José Julián having fun in front of her gorgeous tree. It’s beautiful to see them enjoying the season together as they both suffered the tremendous loss of Julián Figueroa, Maribel’s son and José Julián’s dad, less than two years ago. Julián was only 27 years old when he died.

The White House has 83 Christmas trees.

It took over 300 volunteers from across the country an entire week to decorate the White House with 83 trees, 9,810 feet of ribbon, over 28,125 ornaments, and over 2,200 doves. As for holiday lights, there are over 165,075 lights on the trees, garlands, wreaths, and displays.

Kelly Ripa joked about her skinny tree.

Kelly, host of Live! with Kelly and Mark—Mark being Mark Consuelo’s, her husband—shared a picture of her tree on December 8 and captioned the photo: “Behold the lady 🎄even the trees are skinny this year #treezempic?”

Gloria Estefan has a tree by her piano.

She shared a video of herself and her daughter, Emily Estefan, and grandson, Sasha Estefan-Coppola enjoying some musical family time in front of her gold and red Christmas tree. How does one family get so much talent? Talk about gifts.

Kate Beckinsale gave herself a Pat on the back.

More like a metaphorical pat on the back. The Underworld actress wore a skirt that featured the character Pat Evans—as played by Pam St Clement from the British soap opera EastEnders—on the back as she decorated her ginormous pink tree with her adorable cat perched on a ladder next to her.

Marjourie De Sousa gave a behind-the-scenes peek.

Getting her home all set up for Christmas was quite the production. The Venezuelan talent had help from Casa Merlina. The final results are quite impressive. The tree and mantle would not look underdressed even in the fanciest of homes or hotels.

Kate Hudson went on a solo mission.

The actress shared photos of herself decorating her Christmas tree and wrote: “Started as a family tradition, ended as a solo mission… with wine 🙃.” I, for one, think she did a great job. The tree looks lovely.

Paris Hilton and her family are having a pink Christmas.

The mom of two shared pictures of her family and their multiple Christmas trees. If the trees aren’t pink, then the decorations on the trees are pink. The unifying theme is pink. It’s very on-brand for Ms. Hilton. She also has a very large Minion on display. It’s not pink.

Sabrina Carpenter has a lot to celebrate this year.

The singer posed in a cozy sweater in front of her sweet tree and wrote “most streamed song on @spotify and @applemusic ?!?!! and you guys made me the #1 artist on @tiktok this year…. What the hell….Thank you guys so much. can’t profess my gratitude enough. I love you endlessly !!!!!”

Mariah Carey is the reigning Queen of Christmas.

I have no doubt that Mariah has multiple trees decorating her home because as the undisputed Queen of Christmas, one would be absurd. But honestly when Mariah is around, does anyone even notice the trees?

Martha Stewart has a green room.

This is the sitting area in Martha’s home in Bedford, New York. “My Green Room is just off the foyer. Laura decorated this sunken parlor in gorgeous gold and green,” Martha wrote on her blog. “I love these two trees filled with ornaments—they just light up the room. I love how everything shimmers on the branches.”

Christina Aguilera has a red theme going on.

The singer decorated in rich red tones and posed in front of her tree wearing a slinky leopard dress. Who knew that leopard print goes so well with Christmas decorations so well? Xtina did!
