On June 9, Maika Monroe took to Instagram with a carousel of photos. She captioned the update simply with a shooting star emoji. And the featured image showed her and Dalton passionately kissing.
She included other photos with Dalton, too.
While most of the pictures in Maika's post showed food at a restaurant, Dalton made other appearances. One shot seemingly showed their feet as they rode inside a vehicle. Another photo showed her pinky finger with a ring that read, "BINGO." In the final snap, they cuddled up together on a boat.
In the comments, folks seemingly celebrated the couple going public.

Who is Maika Monroe?
Maika, 31, is an actress who is best known for starring in films like Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), The 5th Wave (2026), and The Guest (2014), It Follows (2014), among others. On July 12, her movie Longlegs will premiere; she stars alongside Nicolas Cage in the crime thriller. Before her acting career took off, she pursued professional freestyle kiteboarding.
She previously dated 'Stranger Things' actor Joe Keery.
Joe and Maika reportedly met at a Los Angeles party in 2017, per GQ. After working together in the film After Everything (2018), they made their red carpet debut as a couple for the Stranger Things season 2 premiere. Maika and Joe reportedly split in October 2023, per People.
Meanwhile, Ariana is happily dating her fellow 'Wicked' actor.
Ariana and Ethan were confirmed to be dating in July 2023. Their coupledom came on the heels of each actor splitting from their partners; Ethan was previously married and had a son with his high school sweetheart, Lilly Jay.
Although fans suspected that Ethan and Ariana cheated on their spouses, a source told People in September: "Ariana and Ethan didn't begin seeing each other until after both parties were separated, respectfully."
