That means that the twins have been in the public eye their entire lives, and since they are twins, it's hard not to think of one without the other. But they are actually quite different. Emme is already an excellent vocalist who can hold her own on stage right next to her mamá. She is incredibly talented and performs like a seasoned pro even though she is so young. Emme was born on February 22, 2008.
Her full name is Emme Maribel Muñiz and she has a twin brother named Maximillian David Muñiz. In case you're wondering which of the two is older, the answer is Emme. She was born 11 minutes before her brother.
Her parents are both VERY famous.
Perhaps you’ve heard of them? Their names are Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Jennifer is an actress, singer, songwriter, dancer, and businesswoman. Marc Anthony is an actor, singer, songwriter, businessman, and the top-selling tropical salsa artist of all time. Jennifer and Marc were married from 2004 to 2014.
Aside from Max, Emme has four more siblings.
Ariana Anthony, Ryan Adrian Muñiz, Chase Muñiz, and Cristian Marcus Muñiz are Emme’s siblings from other mothers so to speak. Marc has four children from other relationships, and all his kids seem to get along wonderfully.
She was 6 when her parents got divorced.
Jennifer wrote about how hard divorcing Marc was for her in her book True Love, but she knew that for the sake of her kids she would have to find a way to be cordial.
When my marriage ended, it was not easy to find forgiveness. It wasn’t the dream that I had hoped for, and it would have been easier to fan the flames of resentment, disappointment and anger. But Marc is the father of my children, and that’s never going away.
She's got two bonus sisters.
In 2017, J.Lo and Alex Rodriguez went public with their relationship and they've been tight ever since. So tight that they've done a magnificent job of creating a blended family. A-Rod has two daughters, Natasha and Ella, and from the looks of it, Emme really gets along with them.
Her mother gave her a couple of nicknames.
From the beginning, J.Lo has called her twins "coconuts," but she has another nickname for Emme. We know because on January 28, 2020, Jennifer posted a picture of herself and Emme and wrote: "I love when Lulu visits me at rehearsals."
Emme can sing!
On May 11, 2019, Jennifer posted a behind-the-scenes kind of video to her YouTube channel and right around the 4:17 mark, Emme started singing “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys and OMG! The girl can SING! Some might say she even sings better than her mom.
In 2019, Emme joined her mom for a duet.
In June 2019, to kick off her It's My Party Tour at the Los Angeles Forum, J.Lo had Emme join her on stage to sing "Limitless" and it was freakin' magic. Jennifer was obviously bursting with pride.

If you guessed Emme, give yourself a pat on the back! And she did a dang fine job. She really nailed it. She even managed to lip sync flawlessly and that is not an easy thing to do.
She also joined her mother and Shakira for the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2020.
During the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show, Emme joined her mom to sing "Let's Get Loud" much to the audience's delight. She was amazing and not because she's Jennifer and Marc's daughter, she's just amazing all on her own.
She's a published author.
Oh, you know, because it's not enough that she can sing and perform like a superstar, she's also a writer. In September 2020, her book Lord Help Me was published. Here's her explanation on why she wrote it:
I first wrote this book for myself; however, I quickly felt the peace that comes from praying to Jesus about everything that is in my heart. He is more than qualified to handle our wildest dreams and greatest struggles. We can trust Him, even with impossible things. This realization was too profound to keep to myself, so I wanted to publish this book to share my prayers with the world.
She wouldn't mind recording an album with her mom.
When asked during an interview if she would like to record an album with her mom she said that it “would be a very cool experience." No doubt and we can totally see that happening. They've already shared the spotlight together multiple times and it's always magic.
She's planning on singing at her mom's wedding.
In March 2019, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got engaged. They have been engaged ever since and still haven't announced when they will get married, but when they do, Emme plans on singing at the ceremony.
In case you're wondering, her twin can carry a tune, too.
Max may not have joined his mom in concert yet, but he could if he wanted to and clearly Emme doesn't mind playing backup while he sings. They should sing a duet at J.Lo and A-Rod's wedding.
She's got a very bright future.
Ms. Emme has managed to accomplish quite a bit in her life so far, and we can only imagine that she'll just keep on surprising us all. Perhaps she'll write more books or record her own music. We'll be over here, cheering her along.
