When most people think of Al Pacino, they think of his iconic acting in award-winning films like The Godfather in 1972 or Scent of a Woman in 1992. More recently, he starred in the critically acclaimed The Irishman in 2019. Al is undoubtedly a Hollywood legend. What the majority of folks don't think about, however, is the actor becoming a father again at age 83. But as it turns out, Al is expecting a child in 2023.

Plenty of folks might have opinions about celebrities welcoming children later in life. Some argue that it's irresponsible because much older parents most likely won't be there for their kids by the time they reach adulthood. Others are likely to side-eye the age gap that's often present in much older men who father babies. Regardless of personal opinions, let's take a closer look at Al's girlfriend, the baby on the way, and his adult children.
Al Pacino is expecting his fourth child!
On May 30, 2023, news spread that Al and his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, 29, are expecting a baby. TMZ confirmed the news with the actor's rep. Not only is Noor pregnant with Al's child, but she's reportedly already eight months along in her pregnancy.
Reactions to Al Pacino welcoming a baby at 83 have been … interesting.
Twitter users have pulled out all the jokes in response to learning that Al is going to be a dad again at 83. One person tweeted, in reference to the actor's iconic line in Scarface: "10 seconds after girlfriend gives birth. No one: … Al Pacino to doctors: 'Say hello to my little friend.'”
Another Twitter user pointed out how old Al will be when his child graduates from high school. "100-year-old Al Pacino at his child's high school graduation. (2041)," they wrote alongside a photo of an elderly fish from SpongeBob.
Meanwhile, other reactions teetered on the edge of ageist. One person tweeted, "'Al Pacino's having another baby—should we buy diapers?' 'For which one…?'"
Who is Al Pacino's girlfriend, Noor Alfallah?
Al and Noor have been publicly dating since April 2022. However, sources previously told Page Six they had been low-key romantically involved since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“She has been with Al for some time, and they get on very well,” one insider told the publication. “The age gap doesn’t seem to be a problem, even though he is older than her father.”
Noor is the vice president of Lynda Obst Productions at Sony, and also has a podcast-producing deal with Imagine Entertainment.
Al Pacino has three other children.
In addition to his new little one on the way, Al is a father to three adult kids. He shares his oldest, daughter Julie Marie Pacino, with ex-girlfriend Jan Tarrant, according to People. After that, he welcomed twins, Anton Pacino and Olivia Pacino, with ex-girlfriend Beverly D'Angelo. Not a ton is known about Al's three children, as he prefers to keep them out of the spotlight.
Al isn't the only celebrity to welcome a baby in his later years.
Having a child at 83, while not incredibly common among celebs, has happened before in Hollywood. Robert De Niro, 79, recently revealed that he welcomed his seventh child. Similarly, Mick Jagger's seventh child was born in 2017 when he was 73 years old.
