Jenni Rivera's youngest child, her son Juan Angel, was only 11 years old when she died in December 2012. His older siblings stepped up and stuck together to take care of their baby brother, who's usually called Johnny. Chiquis Rivera, who is Jenni's firstborn, filled the role of his legal guardian after their mom died in a plane crash. Not only was Chiquis a great big sister, but she also fulfilled the duties of a mom so her little brother didn't feel the void as much. Nothing can replace a mother's love, but Chiquis sure seems to have done her best.

Now that Johnny is an adult, it seems like their bond is tighter than ever. They are both constantly expressing the love and admiration they have for one another and the appreciation they feel for having the relationship they have as brother and sister.
They are so close that Chiquis even calls him her "little life partner." So sweet! The Rivera siblings have remained so united after the tragic loss of their mom and it really warms our hearts. Chiquis has become the heart of the clan, and her adorable bond with her little brother is really proof that family comes first for them.
Chiquis wrote the sweetest message for her brother.
"He’s an old soul. Has the confidence and intelligence to become the president of the United States if he chose to. (A great one at that) He’s extremely focused, disciplined, yet silly. (Which I love) He’s a gentle giant… my gentle giant," she captioned this sweet post. When your sister asks for a photo shoot, you listen.
Look how much taller he is! Chiquis showed off a new mirror in her closet and her little bro joined in for a cute photo shoot session. They have a mother and son type of connection but also a cool friendship!

Juan is also a pretty great caption writer when it comes to his big sister's birthday. "The Lady in My Life. There are not words to describe the importance of your existence. Enough said. ," he captioned this post in June 2019.
She's by his side through the good and the bad.
Johnny shared a video in 2017 with his big sister sitting by his side where he opened about his sexuality and revealing that he was in a gay relationship. Chiquis made sure to be there with him to make sure he felt supported.
She's always there for her baby brother.
It's hard to believe it but Johnny is already an adult! He turned 18 in February 2019 and he was surrounded by his big sisters Chiquis, Jacqie, Jenicka and big brother, Mikey.
