It seems like just yesterday that Mariah Carey and then-husband Nick Cannon welcomed their twins, Monroe and Moroccan in 2011. The songstress nicknamed her babies "dem babies" and now dem babies aren't babies anymore—they are dem kids. The kids will be 12 on April 30, 2023, and seeing the pictures that their famous parents share on Instagram is a reminder of how quickly kids grow up.

Celebrity children live such lavish lives and Moroccan and Monroe are no exception. They live a good life and even though Mariah and Nick divorced in 2016, the former couple seem to co-parent well. They are getting too big to sit on their mama’s lap.
Gone are the days when Mariah could have both of the twins sit on her lap at the same time. In this Christmas picture from 2020, you can see that she can barely have one twin sit on her lap.
These two have a strong bond.
