The web's biggest Latinx-focused parenting site, MamásLatinas, will host this star-studded event
New York, NY, September 10, 2021 — MamásLatinas, part of Wild Sky Media, the largest portfolio of owned and operated Parenting and Family sites in the U.S., has just announced that it will be hosting a star-studded live event to celebrate the start of Hispanic Heritage Month in the U.S.
This groundbreaking virtual event will focus on elevating Latino voices, empowering and uplifting our community and our achievements. We’ve gathered some of our biggest Latin celebs to inform and inspire Latina moms, women, and families through six panels of 30 to 45 minutes each.
The half-day event will be hosted by Emmy-winning journalist Natalia Cruz, who will guide participants through each panel, gather questions, and maintain the fun, interactive spirit throughout. Kicking off the festivities is Zumba® Fitness creator Alberto "Beto" Pérez, who will be teaching a fun-filled Zumba® dance class. Next, Chef Alfredo Oropeza, from Telemundo's morning show hoy Día, will lead a cooking class sharing one of his family-friendly recipes. Participants will then have their questions answered by a parenting panel featuring megastar Angélica Vale and MamásLatinas' own parenting expert, psychotherapist Karina Suárez Fernández. Our next panel features motivational speaker Dionny Báez and his wife, Yarissette, who will talk about the secrets to long-lasting love and a harmonious marriage. After this, entrepreneurs Rashel Díaz and Alessandra Villegas join finance expert Alexandra Ramos to chat about how women can take that leap of faith to start their own businesses and become financially independent. Finally, makeup artist Millie Morales will treat participants to a makeup class with one of her most famous clients, Univision star Ana Patricia Gámez.
