The royal family has a new reason to celebrate. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's grandaughter, Princess Eugenie, married long time beau, businessman Jack Brooksbank, on Friday. The wedding took place at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, the same place where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said their I do's back in May. It was a huge star-studded affair with 850 guests that included the couple's closest family and friends, plus 1,200 members of the public. The attendees were in for a treat because the royal family pulled out all the stops to make it an unforgettable event.

Princess Eugenie and Jack met through a mutual friend while skiing at Verbier in Switzerland in 2010. "It was love at first sight," the royal told ITV News in an interview alongside her future husband earlier this week. They "just stared at each other. Eugenie also shared that she initially thought: "'Who is that?'" She added, "and then you came over and shook my hand. I was all butterflies and nervous. I think I rang my mom that night and said, 'I just met this guy, Jack' and that was it I think, and this is how it started. And I remember being like 'I really, really like this guy and I really want him to like me, too' and then you gave me this huge windscreen wiper wave and I was like 'right, he likes me.'" The couple is still head over heels for each other. Jack called Eugenie a "bright shining light."
Jack popped the question in January while they were on vacation in Nicaragua. Within a few months the couple was able to organize an extravagant wedding with the help of the royal family. Everything from the bride's gorgeous gown and jewels to the extravagant party arrangements will floor you.
Princess Eugenie got married in a breathtaking dress that was custom-made by the founders of British fashion label Peter Pilotto.
According to BBC, the fabric of the gown was designed to incorporate symbols that reference the bride's family and her favorite places, which includes her and Jack's home in Kensington Palace.
The epic train was fit for royalty.
The bride was escorted into the chapel by her father, Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
The most meaningful detail was the low back of the dress.
It was done on purpose because Princess Eugenie wanted to show off the scar she got from scoliosis surgery. "I had an operation when I was 12 on my back, and you'll see on Friday [at the wedding], but it's a lovely way to honour the people who looked after me and a way of standing up for young people who also go through this," she told ITV. "I think you can change the way beauty is, and you can show people your scars and I think it's really special to stand up for that."
She wore an emerald diamond encrusted tiara lent to her by Queen Elizabeth.
Matching earrings that were a gift from Jack, a gorgeous bouquet featuring the traditional sprigs of myrtle, and satin peep-toe heels by designer Charlotte Olympia completed Princess Eugenie's look.
Princess Eugenie's mom, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and her sister/maid of honor Princess Beatrice arrived in style.
They looked incredible in their green and blue ensembles. According to People, the Duchess of York was very involved in her daughter's wedding planning process.
The tiny members of the royal wedding party stole the show.

Local law enforcement and organizations absorb the cost of the security detail needed for such an important day.
The cost of that part of Prince Harry and Meghan’s big day was estimated at over $2.5 million. Having two royal weddings in one year has to hurt. But that doesn't mean that the Queen isn't shelling out big bucks for other parts of the celebration.
The royal family helps cover the cost of the dress, flowers, entertainment and more.
And trust us, this wedding is expensive!
