In a recent interview with InStyle, the pop star opened up about her notoriously private but adorable relationship with boyfriend, The Weeknd (whose real name Abel Tesfaye). Apparently she's in a really healthy place and isn't letting her love life dictate the rest of her life. "I really am [happy]. It’s great," she said. "I don’t depend on one area of my life to make me happy. It’s really important for me to love and nourish my friends and family, and to make sure that I never get influenced by a guy. I’ve wanted to be in a strong headspace for years, and I really wasn’t. After splitting from her ex-husband Marc Anthony, J.Lo claims she realized that the whole fairytale marriage thing isn’t real. She gave some really deep and thoughtful advice to women in her memoir, True Love. "We’re taught from very little that this fairytale guy is going to come along and he’s going to save you and he’s going to be on a white horse," she wrote. "So you’re waiting for someone to bring you your happiness. It’s so twisted." Like she says, "You got be happy on your own." We couldn’t agree more! Maybe that's why her and Alex Rodriguez make such a great pair.

If there’s one couple we’d definitely take relationship advice from it’s Gloria and Emilio Estefan. The two have been married for over 35 years. "We are partners in everything," Gloria told Latina magazine. "Emilio has been there for me and I’ve been there for him. It’s been a great balance."

Shakira and Gerard Piqué might have two kids together but it looks like the trick to their long-lasting relationship is not rushing to get hitched. "We already have what’s essential, you know?” she told Glam Belleza Latina. "We have a union, a love for each other, and a baby.
