Not everybody loves Valentine's Da–and that's OK. There are plenty of reasons why this supposed "holiday" does not appeal to many. What happened to love don't cost a thing?
Seriously, we're barely recovering from all the holiday spending and now we're supposed to say "I love you" by spending more money? !No manches!
Chocolate is too good to resist.
You wouldn't think chocolate could be a bad thing, but it is if you are still trying to lose the weight you packed on over the winter holidays. Sigh. Ni modo, pass the chocolates.
Tacos would be so much better.
For reals, let's make Valentine's Day tacos a thing because tacos always fit, they are delicious and they don't spike your blood sugar like chocolate does.
There's too much pressure to have a date.
What, like you're not loveable if you don't have a date on February 14?! I think not!

You know what they say, "Mejor con maíz que mal acompañada." OK, maybe that's not exactly how the saying goes, but you get it.

Why is it that people have to profess their love for their Valentine on Facebook instead of telling their Valentine in person? Maybe no one cares that bae gives you tingles or shingles or whatever.
If only you could say what you're thinking.
The worst is when someone who is with a two-timer is going on and on about their Valentine and you just want to scream at them, but you can't.
Expectations are WAY too high.
Even if you are in a loving relationship, Valentine's Day sucks because of all the pressure. You'll say, "You don't have to get me anything," but then when you don't get anything you're all upset because it is Valentine's Day after all.
Don't we have enough holidays?
Ugh, it's just one more thing to do.
