This 9-year-old is the strongest kid in the world!

I'm going to be perfectly honest and tell you that I don't know whether to be amazed or horrified by the abilities of Giuliano Stroe. The 9-year-old boy is know as the "Romanian Hercules" because he's from Romania, duh, and is as strong as the Greek demigod. Giuliano has been lifting weights since before he could even walk and at this point he's earned the title of "world's strongest boy" with his 7-year-old brother Claudiu not far behind.

A recent video that Giuliano posted on his YouTube channel of him doing vertical push-ups has made many a jaw drop in amazement.

The thing is that you know no 9-year-old would achieve this level of fitness without someone pushing him, right? Sure enough his father Lulian and his mother Ileana are both hardcore fitness enthusiasts who have been pushing their children to excel at sports even before they were toilet trained. Giuliano and his brother both do two hours a day of weight training a day EVERY SINGLE DAY. That seems like a lot to me.

His father, Lulian says, "Critics say that the boys won't grow properly, but there's no proof of that. Hard work and exercise are always good." Who knows? I find it extreme, but I suppose you could say that Olympic caliber gymnasts and other elite athletes start training at a very young age too.

Giuliano has already broken two world records. One for 90-degree vertical push-ups and another for holding on to a pole as if he were a flag. CRAZY!

I don't know how I feel about this. I'm certainly impressed that this child is so unbelievably strong at such a young age and he seems to take pleasure in what he's doing. I just hope he isn't getting pushed too hard by his parents.

Now, press play and put a pillow on the floor because your jaw is about to drop.
