An amazing pregnant woman in Oklahoma City is making headlines today after risking her life to save 4-year-old austistic boy.
Apparently, the child wandered away from his elementary school and was putting himself in serious danger, walking close to traffic. Thankfully, the woman, who is reportedly 36 weeks into her pregnancy, spotted him standing right near a busy intersection and sprang into action.

Though the little boy tried to run away from her, she was able to grab him away from the cars, even while he was kicking and screaming. Eventually, she was able to calm him down and keep him still until police arrived. Officers soon realized he belonged at school.
Now, members of the community are calling her a hero. But the woman isn't looking for praise and declined to even be identified. "I just did what I would hope anyone would do! I'm not at all looking for any recognition…" she said in a message to AOL.
Wow! Thank goodness that she happened to be in the right place at the right time and was able to save this little boy before this turned into a serious tragedy. Clearly, this woman already has amazing maternal instincts, even though this child wasn't her own. And it's even more laudable, considering she obviously has no interest in getting credit. She acted out of the goodness of her heart, and I'm sure that the boy's parents are incredibly thankful that she did. I just hope that school is more aware of their students' whereabouts from now on.
