WATCH: Teen takes great-grandmother to prom, steals hearts everywhere

Sobbing tears of joy over here because I am so touched by the actions of 19-year-old Austin Dennison from Rockford, Ohio. This young man took his 89-year-old great-grandmother, Delores Dennison, to his prom at Parkway High School. Clearly his heart is made of pure gold. Austin knew his great-grandmother had never been able to attend a prom and inspired by one of his high school, teachers, Lucas Minnach, Austin says, "Mr. Minnich told me that his older brother had taken his grandma to the prom. I asked Grandma if she would be my date to the prom and she said that she would be honored. I told her that it would be my privilege."

Wait until you see the video of these two dancing at prom, it is the sweetest thing EVER!

Oh and Austin really went all out. He started the evening by serenading Delores with "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls because of course it's not enough that they guy has a heart of gold, he can also play guitar and sing. Then they went to dinner at Bob Evans, because Delores loves it. At prom they did the promenade announcement and walk together. Later they danced to the song "Kisses of Delores" by Frank Sinatra. They were home by 9:00 p.m, which is later than Delores usually goes to bed.

Delores looked beautiful in a sparkly blue dress accessorized with a pearl necklace that Austin gave her, her cane and a clutch purse that held her necessities like her "nitro" and "puffer" that she uses for breathing.

Check out Austin and Delores on the dance floor.
