We are always advised to listen to our elders and for good reason. They have more experience than we do, they've been around longer, and they've picked up some pretty useful information. Still, I never expected an elder to advise me on how to be a slacker at work, which is exactly what Mr. Forthright does in this hilariously awesome video, How to Pretend to Work at Work.

Oh yeah, so many people think they are masters of appearing busy at work while really doing very little, but even the masters can learn a thing or two from Mr. Forthright. For example he advises to always wear nice slacks because no one ever thinks of someone in nice slacks as a slacker. He's totally right!
Some other awesome advice from him is to come early and stay late, but only pretend to work the whole time. I love that one. I had a "boss" who would go on and on about how many hours she worked, but really she just showed up early to watch her favorite shows on her work computer and stayed late to catch up on personal emails.
So even though I'm sure we all consider ourselves experts at appearing busy at work, it won't hurt for you to watch this instructional video by Mr. Forthright. As a matter of fact, watch it at work, just make sure you make it seem like you are working. You could follow another piece of advise and say it's part of the "Disney" account.
