Joscelyn Rojas from Pennsylvania was missing for two hours on Thursday. The 5-year-old had been playing on her front yard in Lancaster when she was abducted by a man who lured her away with the promise of ice cream. Police showed Joscelyn's picture around the neighborhood and 15-year-old Temar Boggs and his friend took off on their bicycles to search.
Let me say, that I am beyond impressed that Boggs and his friend took an active role in searching for a little girl in danger. That in and of itself is more than most people do. Amazingly, the two spotted Joscelyn in a car and they pursued the sedan on their bikes until the driver let Joscelyn out before taking off.

Joscelyn ran to Temar and told him she needed her mom. The suspect has not been caught and is described as a white male between 50 and 70 years old. It is unclear what happened to Joscelyn during the two hours that she was missing.
I'm breathing a huge sigh of relief that she was found alive. And I have to give huge props to these two teenage boys for finding and saving her. I sincerely doubt that the abductor would have just let the little girl go if he hadn't noticed two teenage boys in hot pursuit on their bicycles.
We hear so many stories that speak poorly of teenagers or youth in general. This story of selfless heroism is a reminder that there are youngsters out there who prove that there is plenty of hope for the future.
