Brave 3-year-old donates bone marrow to save baby sister’s life (VIDEO)

Indiana boy Jameson Kessler is only 3 years old, but he's already a super hero. This summer, the little boy will donate bone marrow to his 1-year-old sister Samantha, who suffers from a rare blood disorder.

The best possible cure? A bone marrow transplant from a perfect match, which they found in little Jameson. Though the procedure can be painful and would probably frighten many kids, the toddler's mom says he is thrilled to be helping his little sister. Wow, what an inspiring little boy!

As of now, Samantha has to get blood transfusions at the hospital every four weeks and doctors told her that her life expectancy is only 40 years. But after the transplant, she will finally have a chance at a normal life–something that Jameson can't wait to give her.

"He's excited. Every time she goes to the hospital, he asks me when he gets to fix her so she can start staying home," his mom, Kyrie Kessler said. His parents even got him a skeleton costume, which he runs around in while calling himself "Marrow Man." Aw, how cute is that?! Well, he is a hero.

Samantha will have to undergo chemotherapy in addition to the transplant, so she will remain in the hospital for several months. To raise money for costs associated with the procedure, Kessler, set up a GoFundMe page on Monday, with an anonymous donor pledging to match every dollar donation up to $500.

No parent should have to go through what the Kesslers are experiencing right now with their child, but it's honestly amazing to see how their son has stepped up to save his sister's life. It's such a beautiful and selfless act, not to mention incredibly brave particularly for a 3-year-old. My best wishes go out to him, Samantha, and the rest of their family!
