A couple almost lost their home last summer after finding themselves in a deep financial crisis. Jack and Jasinda Wilder along with their children were only 30 days away from losing their house.
Neither one of them knew what to do, so out of desperation they came up with a plan to start writing romance novel e-books and that's when everything suddenly changed for them!

The financial troubles all began after the couple's youngest son had contracted a serious virus that forced Jack to leave a teaching program he was doing in order to take care of him. And to make matters worse, his wife Jasinda who works as a music and theater teacher saw a drastic income cut after a program in her school was cancelled. The devastating situation left the two very desperate, so they decided to do down to their basement and just start writing. Together they wrote a serious of steamy novels that they self-published as e-books., and in six months put out 20 titles. Before they knew it the books started to really pick up on the internet and they were soon able to earn enough money to pay their 1200 monthly mortgage payment.
This is truly an inspiring story. I mean they nearly lost everything, including their home. The fact that they were able to earn enough money writing these books and in such a short period of time is just so amazing.
Jasinda claims that the two of them just started to write like crazy. "We decided we weren't gonna leave our house," she told CBS News. "I think we showered 3 times." One of their romance books, Falling into You, a story about a woman whose lover dies, even hit the New York Times # 1 best seller on Amazon.com. Talk about success!
Despite the fact that Jack and Jasinda have sold nearly a million e-books, they still remain grounded. "I think every night before we go to bed and we're saying our prayers in our mind because we're grateful, and we're humble. And we know what a miracle this,"Jasinda said.
This really is a miracle. I am so happy and amazed by this couple's success and it goes to show how a little creativity really can go a VERY long way!
