Dorothy Custer__ turned 102 years old on May 30th and she knew just how to celebrate the occasion: by parachuting off the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls, Idaho!
Originally, Custer says she was planning on having calm birthday…that is, until her family got involved. In honor of her big day, her relatives gifted her with a tandem jump alongside a professional BASE jumper–and Custer decided to take the plunge!

Amazingly enough though, this isn't Custer's first extreme birthday celebration. Last year, for her 101st birthday, she went zip lining for the first time ever. Wow! This abuela is seriously badass.
Before making the jump, the thrill-seeking grandma spoke to local reporters about the key to feeling young."Well I've often wondered that too, but I've never thought of age. I just went on living and having a good time and doing what was necessary. I don't think of age right now," Custer said.
OK, I love this woman's style. She's clearly fun, bold, and incredibly daring, which is exactly what I want to be at any age. Plus, her outlook on living life to the fullest extent is one I think we can all learn from.
