Get ready to bust out the tissues because the story of Marine Corporal Juan Dominguez is sure to make you tear up! Dominguez, who lost both legs and his right arm while serving in Afghanistan in 2010, recently married the love of his life, Alexis–all with the help of their community of Temecula, California, who banded together to give the couple their dream wedding.

As illustrated in the video below, the event took place on April 27 of this year and was completely taken care of by residents looking to pay tribute to Dominguez's service. Everything from the reception venue and rehearsal dinner to the photography, flowers, cake, and makeup was donated by various local businesses. The estimated total cost of contributed services? About $30,000! Wow, is that the most amazing, heartfelt gesture you've ever heard of or what?! I told you this story would make you cry!
Of course, no one is more thankful than the happy couple themselves. "We've been waiting for this so long," Alexis says in the clip. "This is my dream wedding. I am marrying the man of my dreams."
To make the occasion even more special, Dominguez, who has undergone 24 surgeries and tried at least six different suspension systems, was able to walk down the aisle with his new wife.
What an unbelievably inspiring story! Both Dominguez and his family have obviously been through so much. They deserved this chance to celebrate a joyful occasion and I'm just glad that their community was thoughtful and generous to make it happen for them.
