Get ready to break out the tissues 'cause the story of 7-year-old Jack Hoffman is sure to make you tear up. This Saturday, the little boy, who is suffering from brain cancer, took to the football field during the Nebraska spring game and scored a touchdown that brought everyone in the crowd on their feet.
Hoffman was first diagnosed with cancer in April 2011 and is currently on a two-week break from 60 weeks of undergoing chemotherapy. Star running back Rex Burkhead first befriended Hoffman last year and decided to make this time all the more memorable by giving him an opportunity to join him and the rest of the players on the field. That's how the little boy found himself wearing a miniature Burkhead uniform complete and joining the scrimmage this past weekend.

As can be seen in the touching footage from the game, the 7-year-old took a handoff from quarterback Taylor Martinez and with blockers clearing the way, ran 69 yards down the field for an amazing and unforgettable touchdown. As the young boy gives it his all to cross that line, you can hear the 60,000 people watching from the bleachers at Memorial Stadium going absolutely wild and even the commenter gets choked up, saying "That was a moment right there." Aww!
What an absolutely incredible gesture on the part of the team. This is something that Hoffman, his family, and everyone in that stadium will remember for the rest of their lives.
