7-year-old girl gets Christmas miracle by reuniting with her stolen dog (VIDEO)

When a 7-year-old girl named Mia Bendrat from New York City had her dog stolen from outside a grocery store while her family shopped for Christmas Eve dinner, she was devastated.

The family had tied Marley to a bike stand, but upon leaving the store they saw that he had been stolen. Obviously distraught, Mia put up posters around her neighborhood seeking her pup, Marley. What happened next was nothing short of a Christmas miracle.

I couldn't imagine spending the holidays without my dog and thankfully for Mia, her unfortunate situation took a positive turn.

According to NBC New York, she was reunited with Marley Christmas afternoon! It turned out that a woman named Tina Cohen bought Marley from suspect, 29-year-old, Brandon Bacon, but found the sale suspicious. After taking him to the vet, a microchip was found on Marley which read that he belonged to the Bendrat family.

The Bendrats were reunited with Marley on Christmas day, while Bacon was arrested and charged with grand larceny, and criminal possession of stolen property. Thank GOD Marley was returned to his rightful owners!

Hopefully this will teach the family to be more careful about leaving Marley in public areas without the proper supervision. There are too many people out there looking to make a profit off pets and even worse to harm them. Thankfully Marley was okay, but next time the Bendrats need to choose a safer place to leave him–even it means at home.
