This story proves that it's never too late to find love: 82-year-old Oregon resident Sandy McCulloch has gotten public attention for wearing a sign around his neck claiming that he is seeking a wife. He has been married 3 times, all which led to divorce but is now looking for a serious companion to spend the rest of his life with.
He is aware of the mistakes he has made in the past, but promises that he has changed and has different needs now than he did in his 20s. But of course like all men, McCulloch has certain criteria that the woman he marries has to meet!
Sometimes people deserve a second chance at life. In McCulloch's case, he admits that he made plenty of mistakes when he was younger, but it looking to turn over a new leaf now even though he's in his 80's. I guess it's true what they say, you're never too old to find love.

McCulloch got the idea to wear the sign after he asked a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center to help him find a wife. She mentioned that many single older women were at the center and wearing a sign would be a good way to get their attention.
So what did McCulloch say he looks for in a partner? His requests include that she be over 60, love books, have a sense of humor, and live in the town of Corvallis where he resides. Sounds simple enough!
According to the Corvallis Gazette-Times, McCulloch has gotten positive responses from the public, including women who admire his persistence and have offered to help him look for a wife. But McCulloch is sticking to only certain spots including Old World Deli where he sells his non-fiction short stories a few days a week.
McCulloch has done enough in his life that he will have plenty to share with his potential wife. He is a world traveler, his home is partially an art gallery, a former biology teacher for private colleges, leader of support groups for couples in troubled marriages, and was even an innkeeper.
Aw, it's adorable that this man still has hope in finding love despite his few failed marriages. But it's his determination and good intentions that are sure to lead him to a new wife. After all, everyone deserves a chance at love and to have a special companion to share life with.
