It's holiday season and what better way to celebrate than by paying it forward with a generous acts of kindness? That's exactly what a group of friends in Kentucky recently decided to do, randomly selecting a family that needed help and presenting them with a gift they never expected!
Lucky for us, the amazing gesture was captured on camera…and the whole video is so sweet, it almost brought me to tears.
As can be seen in the clip below, Kentucky man Ryan Bailey decided to celebrate the season by giving a helping hand to a family in need. He recruited his friends as part of the effort too, asking them to donate whatever money they could afford to the cause. What started out as only $5 quickly turned into a much larger amount and when it came time for Bailey to choose a family to give it to, he had an impressive sum on his hands.

He came across Raymond and Sam Bruce, who were struggling to make Christmas a memorable one for their two daughters. When Bailey asked them to come to the parking lot to receive their surprise gift, the couple looked stunned, asking "Are you serious?" But they were even more shocked when they opened the box– which contained almost $450! Smiling through tears of gratitude, they explained that due to their financial constraints, they had been planning on forgoing gifts for each other and just getting a couple of things for their daughters. "But we'll be able to do more than that now," Sam said happily.
Wow, can you believe Bailey's incredible generosity? It's so encouraging to see that truly kind individuals like him still exist. His act was a remarkably selfless thing to do—especially since it was for no reason other than to bring a little joy to a family's life during Christmas. I only hope more people follow Bailey's example and try to pay it forward, not just during this season, but throughout the rest of the year.
