Brave photographers want to inspire other women by skydiving in their underwear! (VIDEO)

I've always been a big proponent of taking on scary challenges and daring feats. Hey, it keeps life interesting! That's why I absolutely love the story of Latina woman Marisa Gallegos and her business partner Jennifer Hoffman. In an effort to encourage women to face their fears, the two photographers are planning to go skydiving…wearing only their underwear!

Wow! Talk about an epic show of girl power!

The longtime friends, who run California photography studio Esme + Eve, have actually skydived in their underwear once before–not intentionally, but because they say it was too hot to wear the usual jumpsuits. Now, they are doing it once again, this time as a means of inspiring women to let go of their insecurities and face their fears.

"It doesn't matter if you're a size 0 or a size 22," Hoffman told the Daily Mail.  "For us, it's about shifting that negative body relationship and being bold."

Hoffman and Gallegos will be joined by five other women on their dive, all of whom have overcome some major obstacles in their life, like an abusive relationship (which Hoffman herself experienced) or another traumatic event.

"I just want to inspire women–the only thing you have to be scared of is your own self-doubt," Gallegos said.

Okay, I know their idea is a little crazy…but I have to admit I kind of love it! I actually have been skydiving before and it really is the most amazing, empowering experience. Still, I have to give Gallegos and Hoffman credit for not only doing it, but for doing it with barely any clothes on! I can't imagine doing that myself. I mean, it's windy up there, what if something falls off?!

But what's most important about Gallegos and Hoffman's plan isn't the actual skydiving, it's the message behind it. Seeing women encouraging other women is always amazing, but it's especially inspiring to hear these ladies tell their stories and see how going through their experiences has shaped them to become the awesome, badass females they are today.
