Little girl finds missing Elmo after he goes on vacation

In the cutest news EVER, a little girl found an Elmo doll she lost while on vacation. But this isn't just any lost and found tale, in fact the person who returned the doll to her gave her quite the special surprise. Orlando native Ainsley lost her Elmo doll after vacationing with her parents and staying at the Amelia Island Ritz-Carlton hotel.

Although the 5-year-old thought that would be the last time she'd see her stuffed toy, she was surprised when it was returned to her by Ritz-Carlton employee Nelson Quesada, who in addition to the doll made a scrapbook of pictures of Elmo living it up at the beach resort before making his way back to her. Aw!

There aren't many people willing to go that extra mile to return a valued item like returning a stuffed toy to its rightful owner. Even Ainsley's mom, Raquel Giorgio, was amazed. "Nobody goes above and beyond anymore in this high tech world," she said–and we couldn't agree more!

But this wouldn't be the first time this Ritz-Carlton location has done a sweet gesture for a child with a lost toy. Their loss prevention team has a reputation for returning toys to kids and creating scrapbooks of their valued stuffed animals hanging out throughout the resort.

If only all hotels were this way! I know if I was a child reuniting with my favorite stuffed animal all thanks to their generosity I would be overjoyed. I wouldn't have taken the fancy hotel to be kid-friendly, but I guess I was wrong! Maybe other hotel chains can take a few pointers from them when dealing with their lost and found items, because sounds like these families will be returning customers.
