I love music but I've never been great when it comes to learning instruments. I can read music but I'm just not patient enough to learn notes or chords and practice them over and over again until I get it right. That's why I give serious musicians so much credit! I think it's amazing that there are so many people who can shred on one or even multiple instruments. But it's definitely the most impressive when these musicians are still so young – like this 6-year-old who plays the piano like an absolute pro.
Ethan is an incredibly talented young boy with autism who can tickle the ivories like Beethoven himself. And he doesn't just play today's popular songs. He takes on beloved classic hits, like Billy Joel's "Piano Man," which you can see him perform in the video below.

In the clip, he plays the piano with an accompanying guitarist and I swear I'm not exaggerating when I say the melody sounds like the real thing. Plus, watching the video, you can tell that he is super enthusiastic about playing. He even sings a few lines of the song out loud!

Did I mention he was only 6 years old? I mean, how incredible is that? Watching him inspires me to take a serious second look at the guitar that I gave up on a few years ago. If I get to sound even half as good as he does, maybe all that practice is worth it!
