Toddler picks winning lottery card, mom gets a cool $1 million

What's the best thing that your toddler could ever do? I bet when you think about it, you'd never even consider your child winning you a million dollars.

But that's exactly what happened to Afsheen Ahsan, who says her 2-year-old daughter Anaya Hussain picked the New York Poker instant scratch-off ticket that guarantees the Queens, NY, mom $1 million.  Don't you kind of now wish your kid was a wiz at picking the winning Powerball numbers?

The Huffington Post reports on the story, describing exactly what happened when the mom and toddler bought the winning lottery ticket:

"Ahsan says the toddler reached out and touched the ticket on Jan. 30 while they were at the Top Convenience store in Brooklyn. The mom, an immigrant from Pakistant, didn't have any plans to play the lottery, but she thought it was a good omen when her daughter put her hand on the ticket."

Now wouldn't you want your kid to have that talent?! I certainly would. So maybe next time that I go to the store, I'll bring along my friend's baby to see if he has any inspiration about which lottery ticket to buy. I mean, I wouldn't mind a nice $1 million even if it's chosen by a kid.

Would you ever let your kid pick the lottery numbers or card on your behalf?
