Clean your fridge

This is the most IMPORTANT thing you can do. Get in the habit of cleaning your refrigerator every Sunday and toss out all of the junk food that will taunt you all week.
Cook for the entire week

Don't wait until hunger strikes because it will cause you to turn to junk food. Instead, on Sundays make food for Monday, Tuesday, and even Wednesday to help you gain control over what you eat.
Buy your snacks

Now that your fridge is clean, you should head to the supermarket and bring home healthier options. Greek yogurt, hummus, fruits, and salads are excellent options.
Plan your lunches

Bringing your lunch to the office prevents you from buying high-fat and high-salt foods. Do this at least three times a week.
Clean your workout clothes

Always have clean workout clothes. That way there's no excuse not to exercise. The worst thing to find you don't have clean workout clothes when you finally get motivated.
Plan your day

Plan your days of the week to include physical activity, whether it's before or after work. Remember you have the power to control your day.
Ask a friend to join you

Now that exercise is part of your plan, you can ask a friend to join you. Maybe she can take a walk with you or go to the gym once or twice during the week. It ensures that you have some activity before the weekend.
Sign up for a class

Use Sundays to sign up for aerobics, pilates, or yoga classes you want to attend during the week. You're more likely to go.
Plan your social outings

It's always nice to catch up with friends. By planning your meals around your dinner with friends, you can account for the caloric damage by eating even healthier in other meals.
Look at the menu beforehand

Always know what you are going to eat at a restaurant beforehand by looking at the menu online. It'll keep you from ordering less healthier. Better yet, make a list of restaurants with healthy options, so that you can suggest them for future outings.
Keep sneakers in your bag

Get into the habit of leaving a pair of sneakers in your bag. It gives you the option of walking longer distances after sitting all day.
Ask your partner for help

Tell your significant other about your plans, so that you can get additional support. We all need a support system around us to successfully lose weight. It'll prevent your significant other from bringing home a box of cookies.
