Exercise is GREAT for you and I am never ever going to suggest that you should not do it, but that doesn't mean I can't be all for finding ways to burn more calories without exercise. Think of it, if you find more ways to burn calories without exercising, then SCORE because you can still exercise for all the wonderful health benefits plus even more calorie burning. Also, let's face the fact that it has gotten to the point where many of us lead sedentary lives and it makes sense that regardless of our exercise routines we find a way to be more active and burn more calories even when we aren't exercising.

Wear your baby

Babywearing is awesome for so many reasons and you will get stronger and burn more calories while you do it.
Use the stairs

Yes, you will always hear people telling you to use the stairs instead of the escalator or the elevator because we ALL know that the stairs are good for you, especially if you have the extra weight of a baby on you!
Laundry-tainment

Anything having to do with laundry isn't very entertaining, but doing laundry does burn calories, so why not iron and fold clothes while you watch TV? Not only do you get your laundry done, you burn calories and your hands are busy so you won't snack. Genius!
Talk on the go

Get up and move when you are on the phone. Don't sit, it's a wasted opportunity to get your blood moving and to burn some calories. Chat while you pace up and down your hallway. You won't even notice you are moving.
Wash your own car

Not only does washing your own car save you money, it helps you burn some extra calories. Nice!
Don't drive thru

Calories-wise it's probably best to stay away from drive thrus, but if you must visit an establishment with one, park and walk in to burn at least a few calories.
Shop in person

Online shopping is convenient, but if you shop in person you get to move them legs and burn some calories, amiga! Plus it can be fun.
Clean your house

Let's not pretend that housework is easy because it ain't, that's why some heavy duty housecleaning can burn upwards of 150 calories an hour.
Park FAR

This is like the taking the stairs advice, you will never stop hearing it. Instead of wasting time and gas circling until you find the nearest parking spot, park far away and use your beautiful legs to get you the rest of the way there. Let all the other flojos battle it out while you cruise on by.
Load your own groceries

When you go grocery shopping, load your own groceries into the cart, then into your car and then unload then when you get home. It's like weight training, baby!
