Sofia's trainer Jennifer Yates, founder of Studio Metamorphosis recently shared some of the star of *Modern Family'*s secrets for maintaing that famous hourglass figure of hers. Try some of these tips and you'll be stripping down to a teeny tiny bikini just as often as Sofia does. Here are 5 ways to get Sofia Vergara's sexy body ASAP!
__Work out … a lo__t: Sofia isn't one of those celebs who dreads working out. In fact, the girl hits the gym all week long. "We work out at least five times a week for 50 minutes to an hour, depending on her schedule," her trainer Jennifer told PEOPLE. "She's dedicated."
Do high-intensity workouts: Jennifer likes to do a workout called high-intensity low-impact Lagree Method, also known as "bodybuilding morphed into Pilates," with Sofia that keeps her lean but also helps her gain muscle. Sofia likes it to so much she even has the Megaformer machine in her home gym.
Work your butt off: Want to know how Sofia keeps that toned butt of hers in such good shape?"She loves working the butt," says Jennifer. "We do a lot of squats and deadlifts and lunges [on the machine], and we do a lot of things off the machine as well. Recently we've been combining some of the heavier weights for the lower body because she's trying to put a little more mass on, so we've been doing a lot of work with kettle bells. She's really strong."
Be consistent: According to Jennifer, Sofia is so dedicated to her workouts she even does them while on vacation. "She'll take weights and resistance bands with her," she says.
Eat well: Jennifer keeps Sofia in shape by also making sure she keeps a healthy, clean diet. "Remember diet is 80 percent of staying in shape and being healthy," she says. "Eat protein within 45 minutes after working out to let your muscles recover and repair and drink lots of water!"
