Giselle Bundchen has a response for all her haters

Under Armour caught a lot of flack when they announced on Tuesday their plans to make former Victoria's Secret model Giselle Bundchen their first non-athlete spokesperson. "Giselle is just a model," one hater tweeted at them. "She's nothing special at all," said another. But little did the Twitter trolls know that their haterade would be used to fuel the super model's "I Will What I Want" campaign. Muahahaha! I love it!

Just two days later, Under Armour released a 60-second video featuring the Brazilian model taking her frustrations out on a poor, defenseless heavy bag, while comments about her teaming up with the brand flash across the white walls behind her. Though some of the comments are encouraging, most of them question her atheisms. "She's not an athlete," one reads on the wall behind the model…as she pummels the bag in front of her. Obviously, the super model is undeterred by her haters. In fact, it seems their comments are what motivate her to fight harder.

"This incredibly inspirational initiative serves as a powerful reminder of all the amazing things women can do despite the pressures and criticisms we may encounter," Bundchen  said in a statement. "Having the strength to tune out negativity and remain focused on what I want gives me the will and confidence to achieve my goals."

Seems to me like Giselle has the right idea here. We all owe it to ourselves to stop hating—our bodies, our lives, our jobs, and everything in between. We get enough of that from the outside world. Instead, we should all learn how to build ourselves up, and what better way to build self-confidence and release pent up frustration than to sweat it out?
