Her breast implants exploded & that’s not the worst part

Holy, exploding chichis, you guys! You are not going to believe what 51-year-old Kim Brockhurst of South Wales went through all because she wanted bigger breasts. Brockhurst, a fitness instructor, wanted to increase the size of her 32AA breasts by two cup sizes, so in 2004 she underwent breast augmentation surgery. Somehow when she woke up though, she wasn't two cups bigger. Instead she found herself sporting giant DD knockers. She resigned herself to living with her newly ginormous breasts until they exploded. WHAT?!

"Soon I had a big dent in my right breast and the implant on the left just exploded," she said. Why? Because Brockhurst's surgeon had used faulty unauthorized implants from the French firm Poly Implant Prothese (PIP), which had been manufacturing implants using industrial grade silicone, the kind used to make mattresses. Unbelievable.

Now this poor woman has industrial grade silicone in who knows how many parts of her body and who knows how many kinds of health issues this will cause in the future. To make matters worse, health insurance would only cover the removal of the implants, but not the reconstruction of her breasts. Uh, you would think that after the major eff up that the surgeon performed on her, all subsequent fixes would be free of cost, but no!

Thanks to the reality show Botched Up Bodies, who paid for her operation in exchange for recording and broadcasting the experience, Brockhurst was able to get the surgery she needed and go down to a more manageable size 34D. I'm glad she was able to get help cosmetically fixing her breasts, but unfortunately there is no way to get that leaked industrial grade silicone out of her.

I've said it before and I will say it again, cosmetic surgery is not something to take lightly. Be careful ladies.
